They keep harassing not only myself but also my husband. Brother and in laws

Called my wife, they blocked their number from being seen, but they left a message. The visual message app shows the number as 913-312-9490. Claimed their name was Rob, but it was a woman. Claimed they were with Community Bank, but the number isn't related to any such entity. Also, they called my wife looking for some one completely different. I ended up manually blocking both the 800 # and the 913 #.

Called and left a message for me to call back. The call came up as UNKNOWN but she left this phone number.  Said they were with Comenity Bank.  ext. 1267508.  Said they needed to verify who they were talking to and wanted my address and last four of my SS#.  In a nutshell, when I refused, she hung up.

Call is from Community Bank, but think this a money scam. DO NOT ANSWER THE PHONE! Got calls on a Sunday -- no banks I know of are open on a Sunday.

Previous posters have given the correct name for the bank.  Collections departments can be open 7 days a week and are usually separate from the actual bank operations.

Mr. Anthony ext 1266217, called my husband today about a Lane Bryant credit card. Stated that on October 1st they will file a case due to nonpayment. Told him I owed $5,000 which is a lie. With a maxed card and interest it’s only $400 I truly owe.

Well the first thing you need to determine is who is calling you.  Is it the original creditor Comenity Bank?  Is it a third party debt collector?

We just got a call and message from a "Robert". I didn't understand the message he left about something at some store we have never been in. He said he had "options" for us. The caller id said Comenity Bank. We've never heard of them, they're in Ohio, way across the country from us. He gave a call-back # 800-695-7444 which doesn't match the one on the website. The number he actually called from is in Colorado, still no where near where we live. We don't owe anyone, I have no idea what this is.

I had a similar call from the same phone number. He said his name was Stuart Phillips. He had called my husbands number asking for me saying that it was urgent. Mentioned that he was calling from good Sam’s and a bank. I do not know who this person is nor do they owe them any money. What a scam artist!

Called me about an Edith Lios...LOL...Something with Community Bank. I can tell their office sounds are are a playback recording. They almost got me. Maybe I should get them. LOL

No caller ID, did not answer. Message left for a name I have never heard of, said they were Community Bank 1-800-695-7444 extension 122-7598.

Now tell the truth, they did not say that they were Community Bank did they? (hint: you can find out the name of the bank by reading the other posts).

Called and left a message for my mother, who has never had this number. Claimed to be from community bank or comenity bank (keep seeing both names reported on search engine) about some store credit card account.

Funny thing is, it was for a store that doesn't have a location here and that neither of us had even heard of (had to dig through comments on sites for the name to even figure out what the hell he was talking about). We also hadn't heard of the bank he supposedly called from.

Had a threatening tone. Came up as restricted. Said name was William Small. Gave the extension of 1227535.

Obviously a scam. He can threaten all he want, mom's not got credit cards with some big city plus size lingerie store.

This is the number the "Special Agent" said to call. She called for someone that does not live here and never did. Her name was actually impossible to hear. Strange since everything else was crystal clear. Rattled off the longest extension I've heard lately #1227567. Caller ID showed Private Number, which sends all kinds of negative vibes. No company or concern was mentioned. I don't know the person that was called. It may be a bill collector, but sounds very scammy. If a legitimate call for collection, they sure are going about it the wrong way. No one is going to return a call like that. I suspect, though, it is not legit, but that's just my opinion.

These are now community bank scammers I think. They thought I was some guy called Jimmy Louis which is quite funny because that is not even my name. If you say they are scammers they threaten you and say you probably have a credit card with us so don’t say that.

A young male with a slight southern accent left a message using one of my daughter's first names only.  He left a name I could not make out, with the ext. #1227662.  The message asked for a call back saying he had to make an important decision today that would potentially affect my daughter, and needed to discouss her situation and options.  I have no idea how they would have gotten my number as we live in another state with different phone identification numbers.

Got a voicemail from someone claiming to be with Commidity Bank asking for a Marissa to call this number. Might be legit, might be a scam. I'm not Marissa and I have no business with Commidity so I deleted the voicemail.

Left messsge about how importsnt it is to call. Said he would document his attempt to reach out before a decision was made.
