This number is a collections number for Commenity Bank. This goes to their Recovery Department. Thought they are not a "debt collector" as they are the under the licensing of the Lender, they do have some of the collection agents that use tactics that are considered as unethical. I have seen some FDCPA actions in reference to their collections department, but most Consumer protection Attorneys will not take these cases without many exhibits of proof. Document EVERYTHING! Every call the time of day the number on the caller ID the number they leave for returned call the extension the name of the representative and get this information BEFORE you engage in their conversation. Once they have violated your rights, they will not likely give you the information after. These harassment cases are certainly much more challenging to be awarded judgment as they do not fall under the FDCPA under normal circumstances.

Caller identified herself as specialist law requesting that I call her office immediately if I did not have an attorney she strongly suggested that I get one or call her office we needed to have immediate attention today I'm assuming that since I have to take credit but this is probably a credit rating or a very ballsy. Noxious bill collector I have no idea like any other thing never leave a name specialist laws you can kiss my ass I hate being threatened

if you have any accounts owned by Comenity bank that have gone into collections, such as Bon-Ton, The Limited, New York and Company, Lane Bryant, Victoria's Secret, these are the people who call you. They are ruthless.

they are probably calling about an account owned by Comenity Bank; they own accounts for all kinds of stores, such as The Limited, Express, Victoria's Secret, New York and Company, Lane Bryant, Bon-Ton, Carson's, Elder-Beerman, Boston Store.

I received a call from Specialist James Spencer telling me to have my attorney call him IMMEDIATELY or he'll be forced to make a decision that I will not like. Why do they think people have attorney's on speed dial? They cost a lot of money! If we had that kind of money don't you think the bill wouldn't be in collections in the first place!

This call was frightening because caller implied lawsuit against me and asked for name of my attorney. This should be considered more than harassment; more like terrorism.

I got a call from this number saying I owed money on a VS card account that I paid off last year. Said I had to pay $386.00 today or they would pursue the matter. They wanted my SSN and BDAY. Pretty sure it is a scam bc they told me they was a company called COMMENITY

Victoria's Secret credit card is issued by Comenity Bank.
But with the Caller ID Name (CNAM) misspelled, that is a giveaway that the caller is a scammer.

I would not give them money because I can tell you don't feel comfortable tell them that you will talk to victoria secret and work out a payment plan with them directly so they can stop calling you

Plus, a quick search on Whitepages shows this number as 'extortion'

Commenity has several srore cards : lane bryant, brylane home, metrostyle, New York and Co, Torrid, just to name a few.

I fell behind on my payments, as I had to care for a father that is terminally ill. I lost my job and could not meet payments for a catalog purchase. Much like they said above, the man said he was an "agent" acting like he carries a badge. He said "we know what you did" "have your attorney contact us". I have never been late with this company before. I saved the messages and I will be taking them to court when I file bankruptcy. I hope they show up, so I can show how sleazy they are. Disgusting.

These people are in trouble I have contacted local authorities and the FBI..nobody threatens me or my family.....if I find their pair they are in big deep [***].

IGNORE these people.  Zombie debt collectors make ugly threats and waste your time and that's about it.  Debt is a CIVIL matter - not a CRIMINAL matter.  They can't send sheriffs or deputies or police to your house, they can't arrest you without extensive court appearances and legal paperwork, they are simply trying to terrify you into doing something rash.  Most of the debts they're calling about expired years ago anyway and aren't even legally collectible anymore.  Tell them that YOU are going to call law enforcement with their number when you hang up for impersonating law enforcement and hang up.  Then block or ignore them.

This phone number calls my home and work place at least 4 times a day both places. PLEASE stop the calls now!
