- MrP| 2 repliesThis guy keeps calling and asking for my daughter, who no longer lives with me. He portrays himself to be "Agent Molinex" and leaves the phone number 1-800-695-7444 ext 7762; then he mentions "...how important this call is, do not avoid this call. It is in the best of your interest..." . I think this guy missed his true calling; he should be in Hollywood, as an actor. He sounds just like the main FBI Agent on that TV show, White Collar. LOL :)

- Kellie| 2 repliesSo I just got a call too and I think its ridiculous how they do "scare you and threaten you" into thinking all these crazy things, not to avoid this issue at hand or shed be forced to make a decision that would directly affect me!! really though?! Agent Tiffany at ex 7742 was who I got. I think this is crazy!!
- BrittanyRose| 3 repliesi received a call from someone by the name of Agent Johnson. I have been receiving calls for quite some time now...Due to the loss of my job shortly after opening a credit card of $250 value with Victoria Secret. I live at home and am only 19 years old and literally have NO WAY to pay it. This is the first time I have recevied a call from the Private number and had them saying there name is Agent Johnson and asked if i have an attorney. I am worried because I have no clue about this kind of stuff and am going to school full time and would be so scared to be in legal trouble... Are they going to take to court or sue me??? Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated! THANK YOU! :)

- how can we get them to stop?18006957444 - We started getting these calls a while back for my step daughter. She supposedly called them when we first started getting them and the calls stopped.... Until today... I wanted to make sure it was the same thing, so I checked on here. Of course it's for WFNNB. We had Agent Matthews call and threaten and tell her to get an attorney. I'm sure my step daughter owes this money but they are going about it completely wrong and making it sound like they are law enforcement or something similar and that she is going to be arrested. BTW, it's of no use to try and block the numbers. they call as unavailable as well as having over 200 numbers they use and three or four names as well. Alliance One and Alliance Data Systems are other names that called about the same thing and when I researched it, WFNNB came up. I've also discovered they go by Express Credit Card, Structure Clothing, The Limited according to the BBB. This really is for a debt that needs to be paid, but they are going about it in a very wrong way!

- Jenna| 1 replyI rev'd a call the other night from Agent Stewart ext 7862 saying that my attorney or myself needs to call her back and if i didnt have an attorney it would be in my best interest if i did or to call her back. Who are these people
- No Worries replies to BrittanyRoseListen...these are clowns...they receive commission for the money they obtain and like every sales [person, they will LIE their a@# off. It would cost more to take you to court for 250.00 than the 250.00 is worth. Believe me...I've bee through bankruptcy for WAY more and I never received calls like this...forget about it. Remember...you don’t need good credit to get into heaven...just a good heart. Life is life...s^%t happens.
- logan| 1 replyit is actually illegal for a bill collector in to call and block their number and be threatening .. i have been recording the calls and saving the voicemails as well as the blocked number since that is illegal.

- Jess replies to loganYea, I have an outstanding bill with Fashion Bug. I talked to World Financial and we were all set for me to pay, all i needed was them to send me my account information... They never did. So alas I start receiving threats that "I will be forced to make a decision that will negatively affect you, if you do not have an attorney I suggest you call us back." I'm paying over 500.00 a month in student loans.. im tryin to pay off that 1 outstanding bill but they have yet to send me my account information to do so... I will not deal with this debt collector so if they want their money they will accept it when I pay them.
As for the guy that's talking crap to everyone. Just ignore him.. honestly he's just trying to get to ya'll. Life is life and [***] happens. - Adrienne| 4 repliesJust got a call with from Agent Matthews saying the same if I had a attonrey. They sound serious I was scared. Until I read this. Now Im a bit calm. They called unknownn too. I know I owe Express and theyre affiliated with WFNNB. But comeone no need to be so aggresive saying theyre agents that stunt can ruin the moment.

- s| 2 repliesYep Mr. Humprey ext 4617 just left a message to have my attorney or myself call him back. It woild be in my best interests if I did. And that he was recording the phone call, so there is documentation that it was delivered. What if I never check my voicemails? How is he going to know I checked the voicemail. Do they really get people to bite on these tactics? Really? Just some more scumbag credit collectors. I guess everyone needs a job of some sort, some people just have limits as to how far down they will go.

- N.They have been contacting me relentlessly because of a Pottery Barn Kids card opened fraudulently in my name. When I tried calling them about it, they told me that I had to pay the $900 balance on it. I made payments on it when I could, but being a student surviving on student loans, I couldn't continue making payments for long. All along, I kept calling them, trying to find a way to prove I didn't open the card. I finally talked to someone who told me the card had been opened at a store in California (I'm in Texas and haven't been to California in years). Knowing this, I called and told them that I didn't open the card and I could get proof. They told me that since I had made payments on it in the past, I had to pay the entire balance. These people are [***] who managed to trick a naive kid into owing them almost $1000 because she didn't know better. I think it's fair to say they're scum.

- Jolene replies to Adrienne| 3 repliesWell i have recieved calls from WFNNB and yes its a collection call, but they go about it the wrong way, I worked in collections, as a collection specialist, asst mngr for a loan company and a cntr mngr for a financial loan company, and it is against the FDCPA rules and regulations for a collection company to act as if they were law enforcement or attorneys to get you to pay your past due bill, heck i know i have a past due bill with them, but im struggling to pay my major bills like my house and other personal bills, i tried to work it out with them, and they wont. so i ignore the calls and when i have the money in full, they will get the payment. the way most bills work is generally on a basis of 30, 60,90, 120, 180 and then into write off or other type of uncollectible billing cycle. those bills that are beyond 180 days get a rougher treatment in order to get them collected, but lying is not allowed! or threatening, I know the ins and outs of collection and how these companies work. And as how you as a person, can deal with this stuff.
- MMy parents received a phone call from this number, the agent, of which whom I could not understand his name, left a threatening voicemail on their phone answering machine. My dad called me and asked if I'd check into it. I do know that I have an outstanding bill with Lane Bryant, however, I have been in contact with Lane Bryant and WFNNB since the day I lost my job and have been working on getting this paid and taken care of. The first guy I got ahold of at this number was very rude, and eventually hung up on me. Such customer service, right? However, I ended up speaking with a guy who ended up being very helpful and we have figured out the issue. More than likely, if you're receiving this message it is because you have not paid your bill for such time and they are getting ready to send it to a third party collector, or an attorney, depending on how much you owe. I was able to get him to let me send in a check through my Lane Bryant bill I had just received; I would still suggest not giving them your bank information. I don't believe this is a scam, however, I do believe they're going about it in the wrong way. Most people don't respond to threatening or rude phone calls... this isn't going to help. I hope this helps someone... I did read through all the comments, before mine; it seems like there's been all sorts of issues with these people.. I think you just have to find the right person to talk to. I've selected "Unknown" as call type as they didn't explain what the call was for until after I called back.
