- EvoHuh... This number calls my house at least once every two hours but it comes up as "Toll Free Call" and makes up about 60% of all the calls my house gets a day, or at least when I'm home.

- Concerned Citizen replies to blooddonor| 66 repliesI think you are being a bit dramatic. An organization such as this one relies on your donations (physical and monetary) to continue offering its services to those who need it most. It's your prerogative as to whether or not you donate blood again...but know that your grumpy refusal to donate blood again because of something so trivial is not hurting the Red Cross, but rather their clients. You could also relieve your parents of the annoyance by providing the Red Cross with your own phone number.
- s kumarCall, but no voice, I'm gonna continue donate blood, but added this number to Reject list.
- TBEMHI,2 WHOMEVER READS THIS MSG!
I'M VERY ASHAMED 2 REPORT THAT I DO NOT WANT THE RED CROSS CALLING ME(1-800-733-2767) ANY LONGER! I KNOW THIS IS A WORTHWHILE CAUSE! i ALSO KNOW THAT IT'S ALWAYS AN IMPORTANT NEED & THAT THERE'S A SHORTAGE! ESPECIALLY THE WAY THE ECONOMY'S BEEN GOING, IT'S VERY CRUCIAL TO DONATE BLOOD!
THE HONEST TRUTH IS THAT I CAN NO LONGER DONATE DUE TO HLTH COMPLICATIONS!
i APOLOGIZE,FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART,THAT I CAN NO LONGER DONATE!
SINCERELY,
TBEM- Caller: RED CROSS
- Call type: Non-profit organization
- Had enoughThey need to stop calling!!!!
- Mahdi replies to JustinYes, this is true.
- Michael replies to Concerned Citizen| 14 repliesI highly doubt giving your own number would stop the problem. You would probably just begin getting calls at both numbers. I donate every 55 days on the dot, and I have told the Red Cross to stop calling me because THEY SHOULD KNOW that I'm not eligible between donations.
Its not even like these phone calls are helpful. I answered one once--because I my 55 days was up and I was ready to donate again--to ask where/when was the closest/next blood drive. The guy couldn't tell me...
Like most charities, helping them out only leads to harassment. I mean, I get a call EVERY THIRD DAY. I'm not even eligible to donate when they call, I've told them to stop calling, AND they KEEP CALLING. - Art Y replies to GeorgeNot true.
- Ex-donerI keep receiving calls sometimes everyday. It is annoying, but I understand why they do it. That is not why I don't give anymore. My hematologist told me I could not give anymore because I am anemic and that I should not have been giving in the first place. I was a faithful doner, but I can't give anymore, and I would like for the calls to stop because I have told them that I can no longer donate.
- Caller: Red Cross
- NICE TRY replies to Concerned CitizenThey call way too much. Very annoying, hard to support an organization this bothersome.
- another blood done replies to A blood doner| 1 replyto "a blood doner", Check back with us in a few weeks and let us know hoe that worked out for you. I made the same call you did TWICE. About a month apart. I also spoke with a pleasent woman who promised to take my name off the list TWICE. Several calls later I'm still waiting for that to happen
- SamThis company calls my daughter's phone. She is only 12 and we live here in Oregon and this particular number comes out of California. What would they want with my 12 year old? I think this is a little ridiculous!!
- Caller: Red Cross
- Call type: Non-profit organization
- Amanda replies to eeveeit does not help to stop donating blood. I moved out of the country so these calls come at particularly inappropriate times for me - between midnight and 5 am, and they have only gotten worse since I have been unable to donate.
- MIKE WHITEPLEASE QUIT CALLING OR LEAVE A MESSAGE,NO MESSAGE NO ANSWER !!!!!
- parkayNot only do I get constant calls at all hours and days, they literally call my home phone and turn around and call my cell. I understand the need and I give when I can, but one of the last times I talked to someone and tried to explain I have low hemoglobin and iron, they got really snippy and rude and tried to tell me that my blood recovers faster than I think so I should at least try.
- DeniseI am tired of all the constant calls. I have told them I will call or check the web when I am available
- Caller: Red Cross Blood

- heydavid replies to Concerned Citizen| 2 repliesI give blood every 50 some days , the minimum time allowed between at our church. And they still call three or four times a week to ask for platelets. Even though I have told them I won't give platelets anymore because the discomfort of being stationary for so long. (I have arthritis in my neck and back). They call my cell phone, then immediately call the home phone, I guess hoping for a different answer.
