    Ms. KL
Received calls in the morning as early as 8:00 and continuing through out the day at noon time, and afternoon. These calls come in daily at various times when they think people are home and should answer their phone. A message is never left and when I did pick up @ 8:00 in the morning (thinking something had happened to one of the kids at school), no one was on the line. The caller ID is "unavailable" and I will continue to be unavailable to them. I have never had a sprint account so I have no idea why they are calling me.

I do the same thing. I have a magicjack phonenumber that I bought when they were having a '10 years for 99 bucks' sale. I don't use that phone for anything except to harass bill collectors. Sprint is a piece of 'cod sheeat' as they say in the UK (pig [***] here in the USA). I bought a phone & service from them two years ago but I bought it because they said that it would be 4-G in 'one day'. They told me at the sprint store that my area (a section of Texas not near any big cities) would the 'NEXT day' have 4-g service because they were going to activate the celltowers that day.
    IT NEVER HAPPENED.
I only had very spotty 3-g service. I kept going back to the sprint store (which I could see from my balcony) and they kept saying 'oh it's the usual 'transition type' glitches... 'tomorrow tomorrow'. Then one day I walked into the store and said I wanted to cancel my service because every call I had on that sprint phone DROPPED within 15 seconds and during those 15 seconds I couldn't HEAR what the person on the other end of the call was saying to me. The MAN LAUGHED AT ME. Seems I was ONE DAY OVER the 'trial period'. He refused to cancel my phone service without a 300 buck penalty.  I kept the phone for a couple of years but since I still had not turned off my Verizon phone service, I used that phone. MUCH BETTER service with Verizon. Years ago, I had sprint service when they were a GOOD cell company. Today, they suck big time. Finally I was about to retire and decided that a 120 buck bill per month was stupid so I cancelled my sprint service. (Yes, I make 'big bucks' so 120/month wasn't a 'big' bill to me, and I did still have lingering 'loyalty' to sprint from my earlier experience with their service.) If anyone wants to go in with a class action law suit against sprint for their bad service and lying [***] in their sprint stores, AND their harassment of former sprint 'users' feel free to contact me at thegeekiestwoman at gmail dot com. I have an attorney and only today decided 'enough is enough'. I just got over a 5 day bout of asian flu and decided f it ... life is short and I will die at the end of it. I now have the time to fight back, and as 'GOD is my WITNESS" I WILL..

got several calls from this number today i let most of them go to voicemail but they didn't leave a msg.. the third time i went ahead and answered as I wasn't as busy.. they asked for someone named Douglas with my maiden name.. not me and not anyone in my family that i know of so i informed them that the person they were looking for wasn't here (now, i will admit that my name does start with D and is often mangled.. but Douglas would be a new one...) the lady said they'd update their records but it might take 24 hours,, we will see... she never said who she was working for..

I have been receiving phone calls from this number relentlessly for months.  I got 5 calls from them today and after reading up on here I called them back.  A woman answered immediately and apparently had caller ID to identify the phone number.  I informed her that I am on the no-call list and asked why I was being called 3+ times per day.  She said they are looking for a "Sherry Joseph" - I am a man, and my name and my full name and company are clearly stated on my voicemail.  I informed her that not only am I not Sherry Joseph, that I know no one by that name.  She did inform me that they would remove my name from their list but that it would take "24 hours to go into effect".

I get calls from this number 4-6 times a day.  I have this number blocked using the blocking feature on my phone.  The phone will ring once and cut the call off.  I think the blocked caller gets a busy signal.  I don't answer calls from numbers I don't know. Caller ID says Toll Free.  I see several reports have stated that the calls come from Allied Interstate regarding Sprint phone service.  I don't have and have never had Sprint for my home or mobile phone.

    This is so annoying
This number has called me about 15 times in the past week. I have never picked it up or replied but it is getting really annoying. My phone doesn't have the capability to block numbers so I don't know what to do. I guess if I ignore them for a while, they will hopefully stop calling ?

This number called cell. I did not answer. According to other posts, it is a SCAM! They represent themselves a Sprint collection agency...and they reportedly ask people for the last 4 of their social. Do not answer. BLOCK them!

I agree with, Sprint went up on my bill, and not only that they, would change my due date every 3 months, I told them but I bought my phone on the 3rd day of the month, because I don't get paid until the 1 of every month and they wouldn't go as I wanted, so I took my number and left

Received a call from this number 800-806-3342
They start of by stating this call is being recorded.  The person does not identify themselves but just demands to know if they have reached so and so. I have had my number for over 35 years and they ask for someone that is unknown.  They appear to be fishing for whatever.  Anyone who calls me and tells me the call is recorded - I always respond with F**K You Scumbag - lose my number.  Then I hang-up and call them back and repeat.  This usually works and they do not call back.  I am sure they think they are dealing with a nut.  That's what I want them to believe - they do not call back.

This is a collection agency working for multiple companies.  You  owe some type of unpaid debt if you are getting these calls.  They are calling me on behalf on home depot.

Still getting calls from this number 4-6 times a day.  I have this number blocked using the blocking feature on my phone.  The phone rings once and the caller gets a busy signal or hung up on.  I forget which.  I never answer calls from numbers I don't know or call them back, doesn't matter where or who it's from.

I've been receiving calls from this number just recently. The call 3+ times a day. I called them back from my work phone and they answered Allied something or other. I've never had a sprint phone, and I'm on the do not call list. NO IDEA how they got my number or WHY they are calling.

    Annoyed
A collection company, or a joke of one at least.

I switched my cell line 5 years ago.  A year later (and for the past 4 years) I get a flurry of collection calls every 4-6 months for the person who must have had the number before me.  Debts are on everything from credit cards, student loans, gym memberships, past due rent & damages, auto loans, retailer cards, even poland springs delivery...gee, I wonder why they can't pay it all back and who's dumb enough to keep giving them money?  Usually it's a simple matter of saying "no idea who that person is" and they stop (until they offload the account onto another patsy collector).

Long story short, they call and say they are trying to collect a debt on old deadbeat, which is futile, and it becomes absurdly hilarious how little financial knowledge they have.  It goes like this:
THEM:  "This is being recorded.  This is a collection attempt.  We are looking for [deadbeat]."
ME:  "Not them, please stop calling"
    THEM:  "Where is [deadbeat]?"
ME:  "No idea, don't know who [deadbeat] is."
THEM:  "This is their phone number."
ME:  "Well it's been mine for 5 years"
THEM:  "[Deadbeat] has an outstanding phone bill of $,$$$ that we are collecting on..."
ME:  "...I'm not [deadbeat], so why do I care?"
THEM:  "The debt is in regards to the phone bill for this line, so as the line owner you are responsible.  We can settle the $,$$$ debt for $$$ right now.  I can take a payment over the phone if you have a debit card available." <--HA!
ME:  "In 4 years this is the most ridiculous collection attempt for [deadbeat] that I've heard."
THEM:  "If you don't pay, we may take legal action against you."
ME:  "I'd be amused to see that."
    THEM:  "What is your name?"
ME:  "You're going to threaten to sue me for a debt and you don't even know my name?  HAHAHAHA!"*click*

And they just keep calling.  Thank god for cell phone blocking.

People, PLEASE STOP PAYING DEBTS THAT ARE FOR OTHER PEOPLE! (deceased loved one, friends, etc.)  Doing that is the exact reason why debt collectors think they can make a statement as stupid as me being responsible for the phone bill of someone who had my number 5 years ago!
