Got a post card from Carnival/US Airlines stating they have been trying to contact me and yes they have from a 866 number and before that it was a 877 number.  This post card states I have been selected to receive a Complimentary 8 day/7 night Cruise for 2 with an outside cabin leaving any major port in the US including Baltimore, MD.  Yeah right....  the toll free number is 800-813-6994, don't waste your time.  All I can say is thank god for goggle!!!!  Nothing this good is free!!!!

Got the postcard, Complimentary 8 day cruise, Carnival cruise lines and the US airlines name and logo, it offered two round trip airfares from any major airport in the Cont. U.S.

So why don't the police show up at one of these " Information Seminars",  I called and gave some bogus information to them and selected one of their times for the meeting. I wanted the address of the location,  It's the Holiday Inn 2101 Wisconsin Ave. NW Waswhington D.C. 20007, The Fortune Room. Supposedly the dates are this week starting Feb. 9th  thru Feb.20th.

At the very least call the Holiday Inn and give them hell for allowing these scam artists use their hotel for this crap. (202) 338-4600

We attended the same Paradise Escapes vacation spiel today at 2101 WI Ave and didn't buy it.  Sounded too good to be true and have seen something similar in the past.  I am calling the Holiday Inn at this address and the corporate office to inform them of this practice and see if they have any response for "abetting" this fraudulent group. Maybe one of our local news stations would be interested in reporting about this which would not be good publicity for Holiday Inn.  

Bizarre question -- has anyone ever tried to successfully claim the free cruise?  I'm not even going to try to deal with the "free" flights, but thought it could be worth it to get a cruise from Baltimore.

Donna-urgent! What is the three day cancellation address that was on the first contract? Please include name of company, address and who it is to be directed to.  I signed first contract to authorize initial charge but wouldn't sign second contract. Afterward, I  was denied my copy of the paperwork from the first contract! Please help.  Need you immediately- three day loophole almost over please reply this morning.

I was surprised to find this posting during an unrelated Google search.  The company 'db-Training' has been non-operational for a number of years now, since it was sold to another firm in 2002 who ceased operations with the business unit sometime in 2004 or so.  If you're getting calls from the old 800 number, it's not from db-Training, and almost certainly is not even owned by the parent company any more.  Perhaps you can call the 800 operator (800-555-1212) and ask them to confirm the owner of the 800 number.

Got the same postcard, same phone number, but only the Carnival logo and US Airlines logo.  No company name, no nothing.  The postage is marked as out of West Palm Beach FL, Permit 3950, and of course, like all junk mail, is pre-sorted.  The only real difference is this is for a 8 day cruise.  Whoopppeee!  5 days, 8 days... all the same when it is actually no days.

My husband and I attended the same meeting today at Holiday Inn on Wisconsin Ave, NW DC. The whole presentation sounded too good to be true so we decided to check their company on-line. Four different associates tried to talk us into buying the membership and distract us from using the internet. The price went down from $11,000 to $4,000. They looked nervous and asked us to leave after we refused to turn off the internet on our cell phones. Is authority ever going to check this scam?

Same company, except free flights through United Airlines... with whom I am an elite member of their frequent flier club.  I wonder if there is any relationship?

PARADISE ESCAPES AND CELEBRITY PRODUCTION ARE BOTH SCAMS and I wouldn't be surprised if they are directly tied to each other financially.  My wife and I attended a Paradise Escapes presentation in Wash. D. C. yesterday, Sat. 2/26.  We were attracted to it by the free 7 night cruise post care that has been described by many.  After experiencing the "hot box" pressure presentation by a team of 5 people playing different roles, we were finally offered the super lowball? 1 wk/1wk membership for $2999 by the "big boss".  When I asked for the package details in writing, I was told that I would receive the package on line once I signed the contract.  Explaining that this was a deal breaker, they concluded I was a lost cause and sent me to checkout and receive the "free gift.  After signing a form indicating that I understood that I was responsible fees and tax obligations, I was given 2 cards (one for the free cruise and one for free flights) that went through CELEBRITY PRODUCTIONS, WOODBRIDGE, VA and required $98 and $70 advance activation fees before they would arrange for what we wanted  The word is that those who have sent in their money never heard from anyone again.
I believe the process of signing the consent form is just one more part of the scam designed to give it further credability.  Enough said. Beware - If it's too good to be true, it isn't.

There's obviously more than one location because I just recieved one today. Different telephone number which is 1-877-491-9620 return address is West Palm Beach FL postal permit is 3950. Probably people working out of residences at different locations.

Just got a post card with a picture of Carnival 8 Day Cruise Complimentary* on the front and the contents on back.
Ticketing ID, Name of Traveler, Port of Call 1, Port of Call 2, and Port of Call 3 on the left.  A a couple of too good to be true paragraphs about this complimentary trip.  Followed by the familiar toll free 1-800-813-6994.  I didn't call it nor will not.  The poastal permit is 3950.

Got mine the other day.  It most closely resembles John's who posted on 30 Jan 2011.  The phone number is 800-952-9644 and the USPS mailing permit is W. Palm Beach FL # 3950.

The internets and the googles must be putting quite a crimp in their business!

The toll free phone # on the postcard was 1-800-813-6994 and in small print read "We have been trying to contact you!  (This is not a timeshare or land sale offer)"

Common sense tells you "if it sounds too good to be true it probably is".  DUH!  We have the internet now, folks--just google and weed out the bogus websites and comments!
