Had $12 taken from my account as well after ordering from Pizza Hut online. Contacted the BBB and our local Pizza Hut. They are both investigating. Consumer, beware.

    Super Dave
I was signed up thinking I was getting $20.00 off of my order from Tigerdirect.com. I clicked on to the link and realized that it was a website that nickels & dimes you to death offering what deceives you as savings. The site is one of the many rip-off websites that has you sign up and than has no savings that you can use.

After signing up Pizzahut.com to get a free meal after some sort of rebate and never following them up on it, I was charged $12, twice, from Complete Savings and I am looking to get my money back, or at least be taken off of the list.  Upsetting.

While looking at our checking acct online, I saw a $12 deduction from Complete Savings.  I looked up the 800 # associated with it and saw Pizza Hut.  We never order from Pizza Hut.  I am going to contact our attorney general regarding this.

Hi everyone, I noticed the same $12 charge pending on my account as well. I figured, "Hey, it's my fault for not reading the terms and conditions" for the membership. Though I do specifically remember only AFTER putting in my address and email, that they charge $12, I exited out, thinking I got out of it before I agreed to anything. Little did I know, Complete Savings accessed my credit card info through Pizza Hut's website. Personally, I feel that is very sneaky and covert.

Anyway, the first 30 days in free. If you catch the charge before the 30 day trial is up and call 1-800-889-8776, they will cancel your membership and remove the charges. When I was on the phone with the lady, I was polite and just informed her I wanted to cancel my account. She asked why and all I told her was "I'm not using the service." I didn't argue or treat her rudely or vent about the sneaky practices of the site. She didn't do it, the company did. So I just happened to catch the charge on day 29 and she told me I wouldn't be charged. If I am, I will dispute it with my bank.

What is learned from this? Check you account activity weekly, if not daily!

I ordered from Collections Etc. and somehow automatically got signed up for this.  When I called, the guy told me nothing "automatically" signs anyone up for complete savings.  I just told him to cancel my account immediately and he supposedly did.  I guess you really have to pay attention to every little detail in your orders/emails.  Gee, I'm so sick of these companies just takin my money.  My life was so much easier without the internet! lol

The phone number belongs to Complete Savings.

They do online ordering for company like pizza hut, and offer coupons after the order.

I just spoke with them and they are very easy to deal with, just tell them who you are, your zip code and email address and they will cancel the charges and the 'account' youve accedently set up.

I also do alot of website legal work and I informed them of the problem with their signup system. The woman I spoke to was rather apologetic and claimed that she was passing it along to the proper department.

And a tip of advice, for 12 a month, the coupons are worth it to some people. They just need to be more clear on their signup process.

We ordered some stuff from Collections Etc. and something came up about more discounts so my wife said she read it and does not remember anything being listed on it about charging you $12 dollars a month.  We are contacting our Credit Union and this company immediately to resolve this.  I would like to thank everyone on this blog about this information.  Keep up the good blogging.  Thanks everyone.

I am also contacting our attorney general in Ohio.  Complete Savings rep said that I agreed to the membership by entering my e-mail twice and Pizza Hut gave them my PRIVATE credit card number and security code off the back of the card.  WTF!!!!  Boycott Pizza Hut for these unethical and dishonest business practices.  I cancelled Complete Savings(webloyalty.com) membership and the 12.00 that I was charged was returned, however this company is betting people are not checking thier bank/credit card statements and unknowingly being charged this membership fee.  I wonder how much of a kickback Pizza Hut gets?  I called Pizza Hut and the rep said they were getting "alot" of calls regarding this.  Call them and complain, lets start a CLASS ACTION LAW SUITE!
