They called me said from Verizon calling bout overcharge on account , foreign lady talking , asked where located and she hung up

It's really a Verizon number but it's being spoofed by scam artist trying to get your SS# and information. Unless you really did call Verizon about a service issue; DON'T FALL FOR IT !!!

Called my cell last evening. Suspected a scam. Verizon has no business on my cell (dumped them for Consumer Cellular). All contact for FiOS is through my landline.

Can't help but wonder if enough corporations get blocked if the government wouldn't start forcing telecoms to actually do something.

So far 9 calls today,   every  12 minutes.   Same message,  my  IP address has been compromised in several countries,   press 1 to receive new router at no charge.   Does not mention Verizon.  We are not Verizon customers

I have received about 30 calls/voicemails from this number in 2 hours. I received 4 before going to lunch for my birthday. The first ones called ID said Comcast and when I answered it said that they were preparing to shut off my internet... same thing every other call except the CID says Verizon. These calls are all scams or [***]. I hit 1 to speak to someone and requested to be removed because it’s [***] and I don’t and never have had Verizon! The next time I hit 1 and asked for a higher up I was hung up on. Try coming home to 24 new voicemails right after losing your grandmother and the only other time you’ve had that many voicemails. Thanks for making me relive that moment. For this reason alone I will NEVER use Verizon.

Does SOB's called again to day my service being compromised I don't even have Verizon I'll report them to DNC.

Got a call from 800-837-4966 "Dear Verizon wireless customer your account has been suspended for verification to reactivate your account using the automated system press one to speak to a representative press two" hung up called Verizon directly, nothing wrong with my accnt & verified this is a spoof, it is not legit

Scammers pretending to be Verizon.  The number is spoofed.  The first call you get is from the scammers.  When you call back, you get real Verizon.  The first thing the system wanted was my SSN.  Sure, buddy.  I was just about to fall for that!

Just got a call from them. Someone who sounded Indian said :"Hello Mr. William" (my first name) and said something about my Windows computer. I hung up after that.

this number is scam to get information from you.  I made sure to cross verify the number in here to see what everyone else was posting.  I decided to call Verizon just to make sure it wasn’t them.  I was told many customers are getting calls like this that are bogus.

Scammers must be using this number to spoof calls.
I just received a call from this number and it's 100% legitimate.  It was an automated call from Verizon reminding me of a service appointment I setup for tomorrow.

Received a call on my mobile phone from this telephone number. I did answer the call knowing that it was going to be fraud. Sure enough, the robo message about my account being suspended and to press 1 was heard. I called Verizon's Fraud Department to report the call. I won't block the number because there are times when the real Verizon would need to get in touch with me via my mobile phone.

This is a Scam Call stating they are Verizon and my account has been suspended.  I hung up and called back Verizon actual numbers and confirmed that this is a Scam.  Do not give them any of your information

Have called several times telling me my Verizon service has been suspended and to call to resolve issues.

I answered and an Indian man told me that my number had been selected by Verizon Wireless for a loyalty credit that would be applied on my next bill. I used to work for VZW and know they will NEVER offer a credit on their own even when they should. When I stated this, the man said they had changed those rules this year and I was one of 2000 numbers selected. I believe this was a spoofed number. I told the gentleman I wasn't interested in anything he was "offering" and that I did not believe he was actually from VZW. He said thank you and hung up.

5/29/19 -16:12 - Left a voice mail. Only heard silence

Caller ID says Verizon but I just got a call and this is Sunday. It's definitely not Verizon and whomever it is, they now reside on my BLOCKER list.
