Not sure if it's a scam but I didn't answer my home phone when they called twice and there's no voicemail so it just rang. We didn't give them the ability to leave a message intentionally because it's so hard getting thru to a Verizon CSR when you need them and they have the nerve to call us? It may just be a survey if not a scam. They can email me if they need something.

I received a text from 27589, which I know is a Verizon text line.  The message was: "Hi, it's Verizon.  Your billing address has been updated.  If you didn't make this change, call 1.800.837.4966 for more info."  Since I didn't change my billing address, I went onto the Verizon Fios site from my laptop.  My address hasn't changed.  This scammer is faking a Verizon text number.

Still me, I noticed in an earlier text from Verizon, "If you didn't make this change, visit verizon.com/ChangeNotice for more info."

hacked 8/2/20 by caller claiming to be comcast employee.  prior to call, numerous calls from "Verizon"

I'm getting, at least, one call a day. It's suppose to be Verizon's customer's service number. The calls might have been phished, because one was "Hey, Liz" trying to get my real name. Another time, they said some address, not mine trying to get my address. Another try to get me to say, "Yes", but I said "No." Another wanted me to press star, than one, then two, so I hung up. Another told me, "I'll just call back." Maybe, next time, I'll tell him, I need a date for Tues., will he take me."They are all men & phishing Verizon. Do not say any information or press any button, if you do pick up. I called the number back & it was Verizon. Not really sure, at this moment , what is going on. DON'T ANSWER!

It locked my phone out-cannot send or receive calls or messages.  Someone from India wanted me to accept a walmart gift card or verizon credit of $100.00 if I paid $2.95 by sending a credit card number or by sending my checking account routing  number.

This is a verizon 800 #. Unfortunately it does not show as verizon, and as most people these days, unidentified calls don't get picked up. Msg was regarding an appt for tmw and they wanted clarification. Called back the number, wait, wait, wait. Do better Verizon

Received a call claiming to be verizon stating that I have an appointment tomorrow for internet install. I already have internet.  I think this number was spoofed along with earthlink.
