spam caller

We a got our first hang up from this number on 12/08/2014 and haven't had any more calls til today 2/26/2015. Looking at all of your info it seems the calls were from Verizon Fios. Well this is so ironic, since I am a Verizon client. I called them to see how I could block this number from calling me. Got a rep on the phone, told them the number and they never mentioned it was one of their numbers, but they told me how to block it. Guess they have more numbers to call from so by us blocking this number they would just continue to call us from another number.

I  received 4 calls last night  on my cell phone and it said  it was coming from some company but from someone from the the Adult Correctional Institution. The name of the caller was a blur. If I wished to speak to the prisoner,  I
had to establish an account  an submit a credit card number. Yah, ! Right!

This is NOT a telemarketer. This is Verizon FIOS automated caller to verify service repair was complete. I was actually expecting this call. However you would think a company like Verizon would know better than to show up as Unknown.

I'm a Verizon Fios Customer. they were calling to confirm my installation for this Friday. Great news: they left a message and I was able to confirm online thru their instructions without having to call them back.

I called this number due to issues with my Verizon phone and was transferred to another call center after a couple of rings. It was an international call center with people speaking with an East Indian accent. Asking to verify my account and billing information. Offered me free gift cards for trying their additional services. They told me that I was transferred due to high volumes of callers to Verizon customer service.

Unless you got this number from the official Verizon web site, it is most likely a criminal outfit from India trying to scam your information and money from you.

Verizon called from this number to remind me of a scheduled service call.

Said, I made a change to my address & I should call them if I did

It was a legitimate call for me as well -- it was Verizon calling to confirm a repair appointment I had made for our internet service.  I didn't answer it, and they left a detailed message.

6/3/15 16:36 PDT  This was a call to my cell phone from Verizon, although it was not ID'd as such.  Message left telling me that they made a mistake with my most recent payment and deducted it twice.  What pisses me off is that they called my cell, which is not with Verizon and the account is for my phone, internet and TV.  Don't understand why they called cell rather than the account that was affected.    I know it is useless to try to speak to anyone at Verizon, so I am just venting here.  The only thing I can vouch for is that the number seems to truly be Verizon's.

Thank you for the information.  I have been waiting for a call from Verizon service for my land-line, but this number does not identify itself by name. This is coming into my pay-per-call emergency cell phone (since my land-line is down).  I can't afford to answer every telemarketer that calls my cell, but the next time this one calls I will answer.

Got a call, didn't answer, but left voice mail, said my account would be credited. Strange as I pay Verizon direct.

This is Verizon customer service. I've been talking with them all week to try and have them credit my account for returned equipment. This morning I finally got it resolved after six months and after them putting my account into collection. I was told repeatedly that it takes several billing cycles for them to account for returned equipment but they never did anything to get it resolved. Finally after threatening with a lawsuit my account miraculously was credited and I now have a zero balance for an account closed in December 2014. So glad I kept my UPS receipt with the tracking number, otherwise I'd be on the hook for $403.00.

This number keeping calling me and it is annoying.  They need to stop!!!

Thanks for your comment on this number.  I used to have a cell phone through Verizon, but I don't anymore.  This number called me twice this morning.  I wonder if Verizon is trying to get me back as a customer (which, I ironically have been slightly considering lately). . . . . .

This number is from Verizon Customer Service. I had a repairman come out today to check my phone line and modem, since I was without service since Friday. He was able to trace problem back to a junction box. So everything is now fine, all works, and customer service wanted to know if I was happy with the work. You Bet!!
