    Another New Verizon Customer
    I have received numerous calls from this number. Two within the last 10 minutes. All of them are "dead air" at the originating end.

    The survey calls from Verizon can be a nightmare. You will be unable to reach anyone who has knowledge of or access to the systems which perform the surveys.
    I think I finally got them to stop by calling my cellular provider (also Verizon, complicating the problem) and having them block both the verizon residential customer service line and the verizon wireless survey line. I stated angrily that if I ever received another survey call from verizon for any reason it would be filed on the FCC consumer complaint website, and then I would use my handset to block the number (which still routes the call to the phone).

    After the call ended, 5 minutes successfully went by without another spam survey.
    Ridiculous that I have to have my provider block themselves from calling me. Undoubtedly, this will cause future issues with support for my services.

    I actually picked it up and said "hello", as Verizon is my phone provider and I am having problems with my DSL right now.

    Whoever was on the other end hung up on me as soon as I spoke. How rude !!!!!

    Out of area. calling 9:05 pm on Sunday. We don't answer any numbers that we don't know. Plus, why on Sunday. When you call them on a weekend they are close except for repairs.

    I keep receiving calls and texts at 8:00 am on a Saturday saying that I have Verizon FIOS appt.  I can't stand Verizon and will never use their services, therefore I never scheduled any such appointment.  I texted STOP.  Then the calls began.  I actually waited on line/ for 12 minutes and spoke with a Mr. Jackson who said that I would be on their DO NOT CALL list as my number was not in their system (supposedly) and I confirmed that I did not order service. He assured me that the calls would stop but of course they have not.  Verizon thinks that they can harass people and that they are too big to fail like the banks. Can't stand them or their customer service.

    A Latino man incessantly kept calling and insisting on talking to me. I finally answered and he said he was calling from Comcast to offer me 50% off my services. He then asked me what I was currenty paying a month and I said I don't know and he very rudely, said well can you check? and I said, well if you really worked for Comcast you would know, please don't call me again and remove me from your list and I hung up. He had called several times before and kept telling my mother that he would continue to call me until I finally answered. I knew that sounded shady. So if this is really a Verizon number according to other posts I've seen, why is he saying he works for Comcast? I think Verizon should look into this. This doesn't sounded good at all. I really hopes he never calls me again.

    This number just called me 3 times in a row after i kept pressing decline. no message either.. i am also an att&t cellphone user and a comcast home user, so if it is verizon i dont know why they would be calling me.. ANNOYING

    I received 2 voice messages from this number. It was an automated service telling me to call another 866 number to confirm my appointment for instillation of Verizon fios service. I have the app mr number on my cell and mr number indicates that number is suspected scam. I've already confirmed my appointment several days ago on my landline. I did cal the 866 number on my landline and confirmed my appointment again. I'm not happy that they keep calling my cell as I'v asked them not to but It does appear this number is from Verizon even though it doesn't say Verizon on caller ID.

    id as 1-800-837-4966 from posts these calls are from verizon pimps trying to push additional services, which
    98% of the customers do not need.  Just talking to them will add $10 to $15 to your monthly bill for junk.  DELETE!!!
