Got a call from this number.  It seems that TWC likes to call customers on their cell phones for solicitations.  I am adding this number to my "refuse to anwser" list.  My cell is for work and family only!

If they call again answer it and tell them to put you on the "do not call" list.  They have to obey the same laws as telemarketers when it comes to solicitations.

I was on the phone for 45 minutes disputing the charges on my Time Warner cable bill. I got it settled around 9:15 p.m. Then at 10:00 p.m. the phone rang showing this number. There is an ordinance in this area against these calls after 9 p.m. I'm going to voice my displeasure to Time Warner AND explain that the first customer service guy could not figure things out and we got disconnected (intentionally?), and the second guy kept giving the wrong information and contradicting himself before finally saying he would credit my account. Time Warner tries to nickel and dime people with wacky accounting,

I get about 5 calls a day from this number, which is in fact Time Warner Cable.  No one ever answers, but once they did leave a totally bizarre voicemail that sounded like a record being played backwards.

I finally called the number today.  When I got their voice menu I just said "operator" and it immediately connected me to a customer service rep.  I explained what was going on and the guy said he would add me to their "do not call" list, but he had no idea why I was getting so many calls.  He said it might take a few days for it "to go through" so who knows if it will ever actually stop.

It is just an automated survey call. They want to know how well they did on whatever service they were doing for you. It is nothing evil or invasive.

They keep calling relentlessly and we've returned their call countless times asking for them to flag our account "No Soliciting" even waited 20 minutes for a supervisor of whom said it would be done but as of today it hasn't been taken care of. If they call again, we're going to cancel services with them, report to FTC DNC violator, file complaint with BBB and procede harassment litigation against them. I have the last call recorded and while they were speaking to me someone was whistling in the background.

This last happened to us on 8-17-2011. Anyone - Just call the number if in doubt as to who this is calling. This has been occurring off/on for quite some time now and they use your home phone service modem to indicate when your home (when you use the phone/logon to broadband internet service. calls begin) and it's spooky but true... I have heart problems not to mention a security risk with all we trust them with over the internet like banking, etc

I usually never answer calls from 800 numbers.  This time, I had just made a very successful service call to Costco's Concierge Service.  I thought someone was calling to rate the representative who assisted me.  Nooo.  Musta been Time Warner (I am a TW customer).  Aside from the fact that I HATE marketing calls, at least 50% of the time they pronounce my name Kath-ah-reeeen.  Aaaaagh.

Of course it's not "evil."  It IS invasive.  Aggravating.  Offensive.  Get a life, "John." Most of us are not sitting around waiting to speak with a telemarketer.

If you are TWC customer they are allowed to bother you with sales calls unless you speciffically opt out with them. I've found out that the easiest way to get a live person on the phone right away is to say "cancel my account" :)

My cell phone got a call from this number today.  The phone only rang once or twice and then hung up; no message left.  If this is Time Warner Cable, then I do not know why they are calling me because I am NOT a TWC customer.  I am also on the Do Not Call List, so I guess if they call again, I can report them or something?
