- Don't bother me anymoreWe are not the person who this agency is trying to reach. Very annoying and frustrating. Whomever this deadbeat person is who's not paying their bills, needs to not give out our number to their credit people!
- james smithppl plz look up what the DO NOT CALL list is for. It is not for ppl who have outstanding bills to get out of having to adress the situation.
- james smith replies to Big B| 1 replythats pretty childish wouldnt you rather have your number removed and not have to hear about crystal.
- Herb SmithI received several calls the last couple of months. Seems like it was two different machines trying to give me information which I could not understand on my answering machine.
Last week I reveived a letter from PENN CREDIT CORP with this number on it. They are try to collect $21.33 for a client (PainVanish). Early last year I saw their advert in a paper or magazine for a free sample, I got the free sample and two or three months later the started sending me bills for $21.33, after another debt colecter failed PENN CREDIT CORP took over. Wish them luck!!- Caller: PENN CREDIT CORP
- Call type: Debt collector
- JReceived a call from 800-900-1380 - total scam - report to the FBI - total scam artists from overseas!
- Caller: Unknown Caller - No Caller ID
- jmb replies to TimI had the same exact collection supposedly from the Military Book Club. I don't owe them any money, but did order books from them 3 years ago and haven't had contact with them since. My son is a lawyer and he said this is a complete scam. We are suing.
- MillerPenn Credit Corporation have been calling my cell phone number for months now. Never identifying who they are or who they are collecting a debt of $75.00 for my husband. I spoke with someone back in June 2009 to send us a letter in the mail stating who they were representing and the date in which my husband accrued the debt. We never received anything in the mail. Just called again today because I am sick of getting missed calls from them on my cell phone with no information given and spoke with an Alicia Smith. EXTREMELY RUDE & VERY UNPROFESSIONAL! Seriously, where do they hire these people? She told me that it was against the law to tell me where my husband accrued the debt from when I told her I called back in June 2009 and I explained to her that I asked for a letter to be sent and that we never received a letter and we are not paying until we know where the debt is from. THEN she tells me it's from a local hospital visit that my husband had back in October 2008. I told her that we paid directly to the hospital what our insurance did not cover and then asked me how much I paid! First of all, none of her business, secondly, how am I supposed to remember but I'm sure I can find the records if I dig them up. The phone call conversation ended with her screaming at me after I told her to calm down and to not speak to me the way she was and I just told her that I would be contacting BBB & also my state attorney general's office and will be reporting the company and also give her name. Alicia Smith - so good luck to anyone else who will get this representative when they call... she's very rude & highly unprofessional!
- Caller: Penn Credit Corporation
- Miller replies to callerThat is not the point. Yes, in our situation it did happen to be a bill we did not know about and we do care about our credit score, but the point is these people are very rude and unprofessional. First of all, the bill they were collecting on wasn't for me, it was for my husband so why were they calling my cell phone number? Secondly, no information was ever given when they would call. As a matter of fact, I spoke to someone months ago to mail a letter to us stating what the bill was about and we never received a letter! I'm not going to pay money to someone w/out knowing what the bill is over! Lastly, I just spoke to someone who told me it was against the law to tell me what it is about since the debt is for my husband, but then I told her I wasn't paying until we knew what it was for so to please send a letter in the mail and verified our address. THEN she tells me what the bill is for and when it accrued. OK... sorry Alicia Smith, I thought you just told me it was against the law!! I'm still going to go back and verify what we paid to the hospital and even call them directly to see if we have an outstanding debt with them only because this company seems like they hire highly uneducated people who seem to take it upon themselves to be rude to everyone they deal with.
- SeattleI received a call asking that I call the 800-900-1380 number for a debt on a Friday evening. I tried calling numerous times through the weekend and just got 'All Circuits are Busy' message.
I looked up info on the number and found this site so I was able to learn a bit about the company first. After reading the comments here I was expecting a battle when I finally got ahold of them (I have no outstanding debts and couldn't figure out why they would be calling me).
I finally got a hold of them today and found out they were trying to collect for some company I had never heard of. I asked for more details and they said it was for a company called Direct Brands for "Science Fiction" that was accrued in July of 2007. I informed them that I have only lived at this address since April of '09 and it was sort of an "Oh... well, I'll update these notes and send this back to Direct Brands".
It went surprisingly well considering the battle I was expecting. - The Phone Guy. replies to Ms. Linda malone| 66 repliesThe phone company does in fact have the right to dictate how the service they provide you is handled. This includes but is not limited to saying, you can't call a specific number.
- blkcatmail replies to Dee Dee| 19 repliesThey are also violating the Fedaral Law by not identifying themselves (blocking their ID- everytime they have called here for my wife, it has been a "private Number" this is in violarion of 15 USC 1692d (6).
- tazzyKeep getting the call for an important message for my husband who has be deceased since 12-24-98. left the number to call I called it back and they said they were not taking calls, go figure. Everything I have is in my name only so not sure what the heck they are trying to do.

- SomeoneThese stupid idiots call me all the time! One time it was for the Doubleday book club and another time for 7th Avenue (whatever that is!) and they ask for a Crystal ***** or Sarah *****. I have no idea who those people are! I called them 2 times to find out who they were but it just said, "The voicemail of Steven and Bryan" so I left them a nasty message. They were so unprofessional and called me back. They don't stop! They told me that I owed them 200 dollars for a bad check I wrote to them. I never wrote out any check for them! They don't stop calling!!!!!
- beadlbrainI've recieved so many calls from these people.
I know there is a law about how many times in one day/week these people can call, so when they call me,...I click to answer, then immediately click to hang up!
They immediately call back!!
I've told them numerous times not to call me.
If I have the money to pay a bill, I will pay to the person I owe it too and no one else.

- ircute replies to The Phone Guy.WHAT are you talking about? She/He said, that Penn Corp has NO right to tell them to hang up the phone. YOU are MORE THAN WRONG! My guess is that you work as a lowlife collector & want people to feel intimidated by your worthless post.
