individual has accent, not from US, wanted PIN to my account. LOL

The same people got me for $408.  Thank God for security l got my money back.

Keeps calling. I have answered

This morning around 11:30 i called verizon since i was having issues with one of my devices. So around 1 hour after that call i received 3 consecutive calls from this 1-800-922-0204 but i didn’t answer since (honestly) i was in bed and my phone was like 6 feet away so lazyness stopped me from answering thank God. Now number saved and BLOCK for sure......

My wife got a call from this number, and they claimed to be Verizon and told her she was "over charged" and a refund of $28.00 was due to her. She simply said that if she was due a refund from an over charge, then they would have her bank information already and to simply put the money back. They hung up on her.

SCAM call from guy with spanish accent "letting me know" that someone bought iPhones on my account and sent them to Brooklyn. He asked me my zip code and said he would call back in 4 minutes, and that the 800# would be verified by Verizon.  I just called #611 on my cell phone and Verizon confirmed it was a scam.

The person on the phone said they were Verizon and that I was selected for some special pricing. The person couldn’t even follow the script correctly. I knew it was a scam so I told them no thanks and hung up. Then tried to call Verizon to give them the info but of course I was on hold forever.

They called my cellphone and it came in as "Technical Support". I usually don't answer unknown numbers but I did and they said they were from Verizon (heavy accent and not the best sounding connection) and were giving $99 rebates to certain customers. I was very skeptical and he was trying very hard to convince me it was a legit call until he needed to get my Verizon pin number to make sure he was talking to the real person on the account - oh sure, I'll hand it right over!!! I had to take another call on a landline and left the "Verizon" caller waiting figuring he would hang up and sure enough, he was gone when I got back to him. I called Verizon to see if they knew of such a scam but they did not seem to know of this particular one but would note it in their records and she said, of course, that they would never ask for a PIN when making a call to a customer.

They said they were from Verizon and that do to my longevity with Verizon that they are giving me a $99 refund.  I just needed to verify my name and Verizon PIN.  Yeah right... total bogus English wasn't their primary language. Indian as their first language.

Just received a call from this number - said he was with Verizon and since I was such a good long standing customer I had a $99 credit coming back - the guy spoke broken English and had all my info including my e-mail address.  He asked for my PIN - I said I'm not giving you my PIN.  He said well I already have your PIN and gave me the wrong PIN number.  I laughed and he hung up.

I have a ? mark in upper left corner of my cell phone saying to call this number 800-922-0204 because setup wizard is not completed. When I call this number from a different phone Verizon Wireless recording answers, so I hung up!

I received 2 letters with the same content saying that my wireless account was recently changed password if I did not do it then I should call this number and that they have to contact me by mail because I have no valid email on my account. I checked my verizon wireless account and this is not true, watch out for this scam

Got the same call saying they overcharged of 25$ on Verizon bill told them that this bill is in my husbands name Verizon wouldn't even be calling me he claimed my husband wouldn't answer I told him to email or mail me our refund he said ok and hung up not going to wait for that check scammers!!!!

Forgot to mention, that callback number was also Verizon & voice recording was Verizon Customer Service, but when we spoke to the real Verizon, they said, we were scammed & would never have called us & asked for account password & Verizon Cloud is the recommended storage for backup NOT Samsung Switch (is that even a thing?) as scammer, most likely  wanted us to go to phishing website. Not happy that this is even happening, considering foreign powers are hacking U.S. for leverage right now. Been with Verizon forever, but seriously contemplating switching providers. Hubby wants to throw out his phone. He's not too tech savvy & can't deal with fielding all the scams anymore.

I received a phone call from this number and said it was fraud alert and I was suspicious from the beginning and glad I was from the sound of it. While on the phone I looked at my account and no changes or activity was found, so I told him I didn’t trust him. He said well you can go to your Verizon store if you like.... then waited like I was gonna say ok. Then I said I will do that and he hung up. Checked at Verizon and no fraud activity on my account, so it is a scam.

Got a call from 800-922-0204.  I don't answer unknown numbers and they left a voicemail, a recording saying my Verizon account has been suspended until my identity can be verified.  I was suspicious because my phone still works.  I googled the number and found these posts.  Glad I didn't freak out and call back.  Don't believe anything they say.  This is not Verizon.  This is a scammer.

It's Verizon's Customer Support number.  I just got finished talking with them on this number.  Not a scam
