- GI received repeated automated calls from this number. It is Sears' product warranty dept. It is a courtesy call to inquire if I wanted to extend the warranty on tools I'd purchased. The person whom I spoke with was polite and helpful. Had I not received the call, the warranty would expire without a chance to renew it.

- csummer - we can sleep late until 1-800-927-2291 on 5/30 at 8:15 a.m. and again at 8:26 (11 minutes later)
then 7:25 pm that night
and the day before 5/29 at 8:25 a.m. and the day before 5/28 at 8:22 a.m.
we did buy a vacuum at Sears a couple weeks ago AND the service agreement.
no message left. the call 11 minutes after the first could be because I grapped the phone, pushed the on button then immediately the off button to stop the phones from ringing. I will certainly call sears & complain, especially about the early times.
I called the number just now, Sears, went thru the phone tree for a person & got a recording that it's not office hours. :) (it's 11 pm here)- Caller: sears
- KrisCalls once or twice a day, hangs up when they get the answering machine or when someone answers.
- Dana WhiteCall day and night as well. Never leave an answer. Twice I got a person who said they were from Sears Warranty.
- ConnieOn my caller ID but left no message
- CathyI have this number calling my house for several times, sometimes there is no one speaking or asking the wrong people's name.
I also have the feeling this call is not from the U.S.
I hear many companies have the telephoning service work in overseas, a lot of them are in India. Therefore, no matter what you said to the calling person or complain to Sears, it's no use. Because the calling people are paid by doing their job--call you.- Caller: Sears
- Hana Hou HawaiiBeen receiving calls from this 800 number. Usually I do not answer because there is no caller ID. This time I answered, got a live person who asked me about a TV I purchased in April from Sears. I asked her what TV is she talking about. She siad a "24 inch" I said I did not purchase a 24in LCD. I asked for the brand na,e ..she didn't know the brand. I told her I didn;t purchase a 24in but a 15 in (which I had many problems with..didn't work upon installation...major problem with returning it for another tv) and I DON'T WANT ANY MAINTENANCE AGREEMENT. She said OK then hung up. I'V ALREADY HAD MAJOR PROBLEMS WITH SEARS AND THEIR LACK OF DISCLOSURE IN ELECTRONIC PURCHASES WITH VALUED CUSTOMERS SUCH AS ME (30 yrs plus and total household was bought through SEARS all these years.). NO MORE..NO MORE...I AM THOROUGHLY PISSED WITH THE KANEOHE STORE MANAGER AND WILL NEVER SPEND ANOTHER DIME ON A BIG TICKET ITEM WITH THEM AGAIN. I will be going to BEST BUY next time for any electronic purchase and and appliance store for any new appliance.

- MicheleThis is the Sears Warranty Department. I asked them to put me on their "Do Not Call List". I was told that I would have to talk to a supervisor. So, I asked to speak to one. The supervisor told me that Sears could only put me on the list for the particular appliance they were calling about. She said Sears can still call me about my other appliances. She said that I would have to re-ask to be put on the Do Not Call List for each different appliance call I receive. Unbelievable! I told the representative to please let her Sears management team know that they just lost a Sears customer.

- Barb replies to Chuck| 4 repliesI have been receiving 3 or 4 calls from this number a day. I do not answer calls that say tollfree number. I called the number and it was indeed Sears wanting to know if I wanted a warrenty on my microwave. I told them I wanted my number removed from their list. She asked me my number and I said" you already have it since you call me several times a day" Anyway she said they would remove my number from their calling list.
- TJ| 1 replyWe received 26 calls in 10 days. Never leaving a message. We have caller ID and do not answer any calls that do not state the name of who is calling. I called to see who it is and it was Sears with a courtesy call to inform us that our warranty on our vacuum was to expire tomorrow. I don't think it is a courtesy to call people 26 times in 10 days and not leave a message. I complained and said I wanted to see their name on my caller ID or they need to leave a message to be able to speak to us or just mail the information. If more people complain then they might change their policy.

- caroleI have caller ID and do not take 1-800 #'s. For several days now I have been getting like up to 5 calls a day from 1-800-927-2291 and I am tired of it.
Just got one, so I picked up the phone, just held it, and disconnected without answering.
Just now as I was typing this, they called again, not even 5 minutes have passed from the last call.
I am sick and tired of this, enough is enough. - Alyssa| 1 replyur a silly bunch of turkeys to hand out ur phone number if u dont like ur phone ringing :P ..... ill bet ur the people that never answer the phone because u havent developed the social skills to talk to strangers yet... or is it that u think ur time is so precious u cant afford to talk to people (ps: your poo smells just as bad as everyone elses!)

- eMI received four calls, weekdays and weekends from this number. No message was left, but I see from other posts that it is Sears Warranty Service. I had already informed them, on the phone and in writing, that I did not wish to extend the appliance warranty I'd had that had expired.

- sgetting loads of calls from these idiots, too.
- Caller: Must Be Sears!
- Leone BarbenThis number calls several times a day and never stays on the line long enough to allow an answer. I found the number online and it's Sears Warrenty. They should know their number is ANNOYING!

- ShirleyI get Phone calls from 800-927 2291 4 -5 times a day. I WANT THIS STOPPED IMMEDIATELY. I do not owe SEARS one penny. When I want something from them, I will go to see them or call them. I know I had or maybe still have coverage on my refrigerator, but if I want that renewed I will let them know. They can send me an insurance renewal notice if this is the case.
- MikeI just got off the phone with Sears. They were very nice about removing my number from their call rotation. The girl I spoke with suggested that when you buy something at Sears, do NOT give them your phone number. Their system automatically adds you to the rotation. These calls are generated when your warranty is close to expiring. I was getting calls all hours of the day and night and even on the 4th of July. Do yourself a favor and call the number back and stay on the line to speak to a human.

- BenFive days straight, about four to five calls a day. I generally don't answer calls I don't know the numbers to, so each time let it go to voice mail... but the number calling would never leave a message. As a matter of fact what got me to this website was that 800-927-2291 called about five seconds ago. I just put in the number into Google.com and found this site. I did purchase a new washer and dryer from Sears last month. So, I guess the mystery is solved. Thanks for the help.
