Yep, I'd say spoofed, as I've never done business with Chase, and yet they called my cell. Fortunately blocked by Name ID.

I got a call from this number 3 different times in the last 4 hours..When I picked up the last time only, I heard a few a few beeps and then I was disconnected. I called back the number and it is Chase Customer Service, but if there was something wrong that I needed to be aware of, they would've left a message to call them back or even emailed me since my bank has my email address..

Bug, read your comment and just an FYI. we had a police officer talk to a seniors group I belong to, plus I've seen it stated before.  When you get these calls do not press any numbers, it will lead to more calls. It's like giving permission to keep calling. Just wanted to let you know.

Its been over a decade since "bug" posted that and it is highly unlikely they will get your FYI. This website has the most recent post at the end, instead of the beginning of a thread.
    Just thought you should know.

I answered and it was a recording saying this is their LAST attempt to reach me about "my credit card". I hung up.

Scammers are now using SPOOFED 800 numbers for fake credit card telephone calls.....this one for Chase. I called the number back and immediately got a recording asking me to enter my full 16 digit credit card number!!!
Do not EVER do this! I have gotten these type of calls for Discover, Visa etc. on my land line this past month. So beware...scammers are getting very resourceful using 800 numbers to get your private credit card information.

Thanks for the heads up.  Caller woke us up on our landline, and I answered it because I thought it was one of my grown kids.  Caller did not respond to several hellos, and I NEVER call back a TOLL FREE number, as it provides SCAMMERS with my number.
