After the standard scam recording, I pressed 1. East Indian came on line and after the usual BS I advised him that I had to locate my credit card so as to make the interest lowering transaction. I turned up the music on my speakers and advised the caller that he could listen to my nice music while I get my credit card.
After about 5 minutes I came back to the phone to hear the standard busy signal.

I am using this procedure for all of these scam calls and I am finding that I am getting fewer of these calls. Eventually they will tire of my ruse and delete me from their robo callers.

A number of ROBO  or just plain unknown numbers have come into my cell over the past 2 weeks.  Since I have been with my father at the hospital I have not kept up with  this. All these numbers have been blocked I do not know who they are and no messages were left.  Glad I was to busy to answer this call after reading a few of the posts from these CROOKS.

If I have the time, I string them along for a while, then I abuse them. I call them every name in the book, question their parentage, tell them they have dishonored their father, and have intimate relations with pigs and cows. They get SO upset! But hey, you call me up in the middle of my day, I reserve the right to dish out some F-bombs. It's cathartic.

Scam call posing as chase bank; do not answer or block;either will tell scammer phone number is good and they then sell it to scammers world wide.

They have no idea if you've blocked their number. It's not as if your call blocker announces itself. The robot just keeps dialling.
And why would "scammers world wide" BUY your phone number when all they need to do is dial all numbers in a given sequence? The robot doesn't get bored.

It's a valid Chase number, but it's often spoofed by  scammers.  They will seriously try to offer you a lower rate on your credit card account even if you don't own a credit card.

Well, no. What they'll "seriously" try to do is GET your credit card number.

Caller ID stated: 02/03/20, 11:56 AM, Chase Card SVCS, 800-945-2000. Same info as stated from everyone else. 106 pages of detailed scammer information since Jau 2007 and they still have not shut down these thieving scammers. Pathetic.

How do you expect them to "shut down these thieving scammers" that are overseas?

It was a nice young man - John I believe, from Card Services.  Since I have been paying my Bille, he was able to lower my interest rate to zero!  I gave him the numbers for 5 of my cards...I'm going to saving so much money...thank you John!

Received a call on my cellphone from 1-800-945-2000.
I didn't bother to answer it.
Read a few previous posts claiming it's from Chase Bank.
I have just ONE credit card and it's NOT from Chase.
I don't use my cellphone for business matters.
Not even my job has my cellphone number.

So scammers pretending to be Experian are now spoofing a Chase phone number? Yet further proof they are none too bright.

I hung up the instant I heard the automated nonsense about credit card rates. I can see this trash group has been doing this for over a decade now. Get a real job, you uneducated losers.
