They keep calling

They have called repeatedly and left a vague message saying they need to discuss an important Capital One issue but no one in my home has a Capital One account. From other posts it looks like telling them wrong number doesn’t help so I’ll just block the number.

This number keeps calling me and I’m not even behind on payments. I’ve had enough.

I've received multiple calls from this number and never answered.  I decided to answer today and told them to stop calling me, my account is up to date and they have no reason to be calling me.  She said she'd be happy to issue a cease and desist if she could just have me confirm my birthdate.  Aaaaah, how about NO!!

I am receiving several calls a day from this number.

Keep getting calls saying an important  business matter on my account. I do not have an account with them.

I recently received this cell phone number about 2 months ago this number keeps calling my line but won't leave any messages it's very annoying is there anyway I could stop them they keep asking for some women who I don't know what can I do about this situation

Just answer as a business and they'll hang up.  They've never actually spoke to me, s they always call the company I work for.

New in 2019... I am getting multiple calls a day. They leave vm saying this is Capital One, please call us. I don't have C.O. acct.  From reading other reports here (they have recording asking for your acct number and SS number... are you kidding?

I am on a no call list. This is happening several times a day

Well, since you are on that list you are completely aware of the fact that debt collection calls are not sales calls and that registry has no bearing on this call.

800 955 6600 is definitely fraud.  I just called the real Capital One and they verified it is not one of their numbers.  Additionally, the call came in and when I answered it there was a few seconds of silence until the call hung up.  I called it back and pressed zero.  A man identified himself and then asked me for my name (which is the way the real Capital One conducts their calls).  When I gave him my name he said my name didn't come up and for me to please give him my 16 digit card number to verify my account.  I said no and then debated him for two minutes because I said he's fraud while he insisted he's really Capital One.

THEY'RE FRAUD, FISHING FOR ACCOUNT NUMBERS.

Keep getting a recorded message  from 1-800-955-6600
On a daily basis sometimes 2 or 3 a day for the last 8 months that goes like this: "Hi, this is Karen from Capital One, we've been trying to reach you regarding a very important matter, please call use back!"
    First of all I don't have account with Capital One and I called Capital one and spoke to a rep that told me they have not been calling me and suggested I t might be a scammer. I have been reporting this to the Federal Trade Commission for the last 3 month to no avail they still continue to call!
