After telling this caller over and over that they have the wrong number, I decided to put one of my brass Christmas hand bells to good use .   It worked !!!!

Scam company, fake story, lots and lots of lies on that website. It looks to be a debt repair company but they won't even tell you their company name.

Calls constantly. Robo call. Just says to call back. No details at all. That’s a crazy stupid voice message to leave no details about who is calling or what it’s about. I don’t return calls like that!

Keeps calling as least 5 times a day under different number and leave 1800-955 -6600 to call back

This number has called me 18 times within the last 3 days.  They call and don't leave a voicemail.  I finally called the number back and redirected me to Capital One.  I explained the situation and they told me that they have no notes on my accounts calling and that my accounts are up to date.  I was asked to email abuse@capitalone.com which I did.

The number is spoofed. The caller got the member of Capital One Collections off the internet. That isn’t he real number. They can,‘y leave a message because the voicemail stores the real number of the caller.
Voicemail does have the correct number. Since they don’t leave a message, you can’t access the real number, but callback with access it instead of the spoofed number.
Call the number on your card. Never hit callback or answer these calls.

Sorry, but I called Capital One directly, and I learned I didn’t owe them anything. This caller is bogus, hiding behind a spoofed number.

I get calls from this number but it says spam

I have a capital one card 3 of them  I have gotten this call for a week now but as I pay all my bills ahead of time I knew this was a scam I call the number on back of my card and was told do not give any info or payments to this number its a scam and not capital one

This number will call several times a day almost everyday. Looked it up and see everyone saying it is capital one. I do have an account with them. I have never missed a payment and balance always gets paid off. I only use it when I purchase gas because I do not want to use my debit card for that purchase. So, I will just block the number.

I received a call from this number this morning. I normally don't, but I answered this time.. This woman I can barely understand (usual) tells me her name is 'Agent' something or other from Capital One. The agent bit caught me off guard first of all. Second, she tells me I'm... Get this... 1 Day late paying my bill. Um I've never gotten called for being a day late. At any rate, she continued and told me she could take a payment today to rectify the situation. But yet she was telling me that the minimum amount due was like over $160. Um 3rd red flag. I get my emails. They've all said my minimum payment is like $60. So I just told her I'd love for her to help me with that, however I'm unemployed with no income ATM. So she was going into her schpiel of telling me how sorry she was.. blah blah blah... I just hung up and blocked the number

Multiple calls a day. They finally left a message from "capital one" I "missed" a payment. Hmm. I've had this card for 7 years, never missed a payment. Needless to say, I did not call the number back.

This is a scam call but the beauty of it in 2022 is I can add it to my contact list, name it whatever I  want, like Cap One fake calls and then block the number! They may call with a different number but I’ll just keep blocking them.
