Keep getting calls on my cell phone...really annoying.

Harassement is the best description for Capitol One collection policies.

I get these calls often, twice today.  I googled the number and found this website.
I called the number and got the capital one message to enter my entire 16 digit account number.

Phones daily...then hangs up; do not appreciate. at least leave a message if it's that important

I got a call this morning from a guy at Capital One asking about payment on one of my two accounts. He had the last 4 digits of the account and new the minimum balance. I told him I would pay both bills online. When I told him about my husband's recent hospitalization and trying to pay medical bills, he said I could talk to the "Hardship" department. I asked him for the phone number and he said he could transfer me. All he would need is the last 4 digits of my social security. That rang an alarm and I told him I would have to call them later. Then he said he could give me the number which was 800-955-6600. I checked that number and searched for the "Hardship" department on the Capital One website - nothing.

How did this guy know the last 4 digits of my account and minimum balance?

I received a call from that company too though I don't have any Capitol 1 accounts in collections though I had one that was lost and used fraudulently. I did not answer and do not intend to!

They call me too! It's annoying. I just got this cell phone like a week ago and they call it. I don't answer. I know they're not looking for me but how do you get them to stop? I have called the number and they do answer Capital One.

I have a Cap 1 account, no big deal. My biggest beef is that when they call they ask for my husband and refuse to talk to me.  He is military so he is gone most of the time.  All they say is 'we'll try another time' then they hang up.  I can never get a word in to say that I can help them because he is gone for awhile.  Otherwise they keep callign and calling.  It drives me nuts.

Just started today, multiples calls of which I did not answer. How are these people getting my number when I have only giving it out to five people of which are my family.

This number calls me three or four times a day. I don't have nor have I ever had a Capitol One credit card. It's a recording, and they ask me to enter my account number. I don't have an account.

They keep calling and an automated system ask for my social security # and/or my 16 digit credit card #. This is a new phone and I do not want to be harassed. Please stop calling!

husband have a Cap.1 card. when they called, it was late. Told them he wasn't home and didn't speak english and for them to give me a message. the lady gave me this number and told me i could call in for him when he's around. caller id shows "toll free call"

I keep getting calls from this 800-955-6600, I have told them that the person that they are looking for is not at this number, here it is 8 months later, and they are still calling me 4 to 5 times a day. How can I get this to stop!

They call my phone 4-5 times a day, I have answered a few time and told them they have the wrong number, I have even tried calling them back to let them know they are calling the wrong number. I have tried to talk to their reps but no one wants to listen. I am tired of getting calls from them. Make the madness stop!!!

This number Keep Calling Multiple Times everyday, they asked for my Capital One Cradit Card number and they just keep calling and calling

multiple calls a day no message left need information to make them stop.

This number calls my cell phone once every hour! They never ever leave a message, and will call as early as 730am, late as 1000pm. WTF? Capital One Bank should hire some nicer people so that these calls will be answered, because as far as I can tell, everyone else ignores these calls too. Harassment is no way to collect, well, anything.

I receive about 3-4 calls a day also.  I am a Capital One customer so I called customer service to see if maybe I missed a payment on one of my accounts and they said my accounts are current and that there should not be a collection agency calling me.  So be aware of this number.
