- chrissyh| 1 replyI just received a call at my office number from "caroline" stating the same thing.... important situation she wants to inform me of, that i may not be aware of.
- Shelli Wiley| 10 repliesThis is a genuine company guys. I spoke with Caroline several times yesterday abt a legitimate outstanding bill. She was very, very pleasant...very easy to work with...she wasn't rude or arrogant like so many debt collectors these days. We set up very agreeable terms to pay the debt, that I really DO owe. Give em a chance...I hate bill collectors...this one isn't so bad, as long as you aren't running from your obligations on purpose!

- Shill Alert replies to Shelli Wiley| 5 repliesExcuse me while I wipe the slime that's oozing off my monitor now!
- Shelli Wiley replies to Shelli| 2 repliesOk...so I have discovered an issue here. I can't figure out how to remove this post. I had it brought to my attention that this post existed. I did not place this here, a very upset family member did, out of stupiness, anger, and not knowing the WHOLE story! I have had a good experience with this company. They appear to be totally legitimate. Caroline called me, regarding a true outstanding debt I have. It's mine, I owe it! Agreeable, flexible terms, super polite! Not your average collector in my experience!
- Shelli Wiley replies to Shill Alert| 4 repliesLol...not 100% sure what on earth that's supposed to mean, but I doubt it's good. I'm sorry that you disagree with me...just letting everyone know my personal experience. I didn't have a single problem with them. They didn't call me a million times because I returned her phone call. The woman that I deal with was pleasant and professional. The terms that we came up with were easy for me to follow. This is a genuine debt of mine, which I acknowledge and accept responsibility for. Sorry if that offends people...but I owe it...terms were agreeable...soooo, I'm paying it. All I'm saying.
- RHReceived a call from Jade today. She also said she needed to speak with me about a matter that I probably was not aware of. If the person from MFS is really who they say they are and that is the actual company who owns the phone number, then the should realize that by not identifying themselves/the company they are calling from, they are breaking the law. I called and left a message for Jade after listening to almost a minute of music, basically saying the next time you call me you have to tell me where you are calling from and what you are calling in reference to, if you don't, you're breaking the law. They need to know they can't just call you about a matter you don't know about.
- Caller: Who knows
- RHReceived a call again but this time a message was not left.

- mom| 1 replyI recieved a call from Caroline as well stating she was calling me about a sitution in her office I may not be aware of........really? there are alot of situtions in offices I'm unaware of! Legit collectors identify themselves as legally they have to
- Gman| 1 replyGot the call today too, at work. According to the Fair Debt Collection Act, they cannot call me while I am at work.
Anyway, if this "Carolyn" calls me again i know how to put a stop to it.- Caller: MF's

- Smarter than they are| 2 repliesI just got a call from Jade with this company. Few things to point out:
A. She called my work and left a voicemail in which she did not identify her company or what she was calling about.
B. She claimed that I took out a payday loan with a company that doesnt exsist according to google.
C. Refused to specify the amount due on this "loan" that I know I never asked for or received.
D. Midwest Fedility Services LLC does not even have a working website.
So I asked her nicely to please forward any and all loan documents for my review, she said she would email them to me... Ooook, still waiting for those documents. She wasn't rude to me at all during the phone call HOWEVER, I will take her information and email (if I ever get it) and forward to the FBI and FTC for review. How's about that "Jade"....- Caller: Midwest Fedility Services

- Company Information| 5 repliesLink to Mike Owens (CEO/Debt Collector) Linked In Profile: http://www.linkedin.com/pub/mike-powell/15/607/b60. Also give phone number and address, they are not even listed with the BBB.This "business" has been open 6 mths.
Apparently this is a start up business. No website exists for this company unless it's hidden. And btw, what CEO/ Owner of a business actually lists a position that he held with a company as "pee on" and still expects to be treated like a professional... He probably stole your names out of the database at NRS and is now trying to collect on bogus debts to help pay for his new business venture. How creative and he's already breaking the law... Such a shame.- Caller: Midwest Fidelity Services

- your misinformed replies to Company Information| 4 repliesMike Powell not Mike Owens? Apparently someone at NRS. I could guess two names. Really.
Website being hidden? Why? what's the point of having a website then? Work on it will have one shortly.
So NRS is collecting on bogus debts? What would be the point of stealing already bogus debts? and how?
Please worry about your business. You have enough problems to deal with without looking for mine. And this is what you find a lighthearted Linkedin profile and completely misinformed information all the way around. The debts that we are servicing are to the best of our knowledge, legit. We are able to validate everything if the request is made. If we cannot validate we close the account and notify our client.
maybe poor choice of words but meant more as a lighthearted way of saying we wear many hats!!! thank you for bringing that to our attention.
Wish you the very best of luck in your "endeavor". - Mike Powell replies to Smarter than they are| 1 replyHi smarter than they are could you please give me a call so I can find out what is going on with the information you requested?
- compliance replies to aggravated clientPlease call me with your phone number or email it to me at accounts@midwestfidelity.com. I will find out whay we have not removed the number and take care of it.
I apologize we have not resolved this. i will take care of it as soon as possible. - compliance replies to GmanHi Gman. Give me a call or email me at accounts@midwestfidelity.com and I will make sure we do not call you.
- P O'd replies to Shelli Wiley| 2 repliesCant help but think 'Shelli Wiley' is a client fabricated by Midwest fidelity to lull the doubters here into a false sense of security!!
- Cant help it replies to P O'd| 1 replyIs it so hard to imagine that maybe just maybe we are trying to do things the right way. Why is that so out of the question?
If you have any issues please call me personally. Mike Powell. I will try my best to help your doubts.
Unfortunately these boards do as much to harm yourself as it is to inform. It is tough to get anyone to sing praises on these boards when everyone else is bashing. It actually taked a lot of guts. Again, most do not know the actual laws and the challenges that come with trying to keep up with ever changing and often ambiguous rulings.
Our intention is to service accounts and treat people the way they should be treated. We have had so many more successes than anything posted here but I understand that you are not interested in that on this board.
Please feel free to contact me instead of just bashing. - can't help it replies to Cant help itDid not proof read this "took" not "taked" apologies for that. I didn't read back through until it posted. i don't know how to edit. Apologies again!
- PDUNCAN| 5 repliesWHILE THEY ARE IN FACT A COLLECTION AGENCY THEY ALSO COMITTED SEVERAL VIOLATIONS OF THE FDCPA WHEN I SPOKE TO THEM SO I FILED A COMPLAINT WITH AN ATTORNEY. KNOW YOUR RIGHTS UNDER THE FDCPA BEFORE SUBMITTING TO ANY THIRD PARTY DEBT COLLECTOR
