801-623-4631 called - Caller Id says 'out of area'. I answered the day after Thanksgiving, no one there and I stayed on thinking it might be auto dialer with long delay and was curious, no one ever came and finally I got the operator message you get when you leave the phone off the hook. Weird. Must be an autodialer and only one of the calls is handled while the other are dropped?

does this issue fall under the laws of 'caller remove' list ?

someone from this phone # calls a couple times a day.  i'm not wasting my cell minutes on someone i don't know.

Indicated last time this number called, not to call again.

Someone from this number called me 5 times in one day and just hangs up DO NOT CALL MY HOUSE EVER AGAIN. Remove my number off your list 775-673-0386. This is a felony to keep calling someone. I will get my lawyer to take care of this I have your number still on my caller Id

They call non-stop. I have told them and so has my husband we are not INTERESTED, please dont call back. They have called numerous times since. I have high school kids too. But enough is enough.

No one there when I answer.  I received a call from this number today and about a month ago.

Unfortunately the Do Not Call list allows polling (and charity), it only prohibits sales calls.

It is not childish to dislike being disturbed by these calls.  Very happy to hear they don't bother you - I'm sure there are many others who don't mind.  Perhaps they could allow those of us who don't want the calls to sign up for a nationwide removal list, just like they do for sales calls.

No, there are no laws - when they passed the Do Not Call law they declared "the right to poll" more important then "the right to privacy" - I frankly disagree...

I think this must be a solicitor that got a hold of a do not call list.  When the number calls, there is no answer when you pick up and it will repeatedly continue to call you.

Just got a call and they listened for a few seconds and then they hung up.

I've been getting calls on my cell from this number starting this week. I answered once, nothing there. After reading these posts I'm going to look into blocking the number through my provider or in my Blackberry.

I got this phone call a minute ago from 8016234631, didn't answer it as I never do unknown numbers. I suspect it's a survey thing because I just finished a survey on my recent stay at Holiday Inn and I checked the box that they can call me if need be to follow up.

Same phone call from 801-623-4631.  Didn't leave a message just rang. I make a habit of not picking up numbers that are not familiar to me.  if they really want to talk to me, they'll leave a message.

answered a call from this number on 12/10/07. no one there. Why make an LD call and not talk?

Do the people who post here not bother reading the thread? This is apparently a survey company - therefore they are not subject to the National Do Not Call list - just like the Fraternal Order of Police, the Republican Party and other "non-soliciting" phone calls. Calling you is NOT illegal and "laying charges" will not help. As several people have suggested here why not go to the company's website and request that your number be removed from their list. If you choose to call the FCC every time you get a call like this then clearly you have too much time on your hands and you're wasting the FCC's time and the rest of our tax dollars in the process.

They've called me 4 times and I've ignored.  They don't leave messages.  Will they stop calling?
