Report this to your State's Attorney General's Office if you are on the No Call List when these calls happen. Then let your A.G. sic 'em. Mine gets $5,000 PER CALL fines. Woo hoo!

They keep calling, leave no msg, do not know who they are and am not going to answer unless they leave a msg.

They call every day. No message so I finally blocked the call but they still call everyday. With is there anything we can do

Whoever is calling ( i live in Canada) they do not leave a message. I called the number back, and the messge comes on saying "There is no service to the number calling " !!!!!!

For a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number. For tracfone & straight talk:

For text messages: forwarding any text message spam you get to the short code  “7726,” which spells “spam” on most phones, to alert your network operator to the abuse. ATT won't accept 7726 But they will accept BLOCK and return a message that the web site is blocked. forward the texts to 7726 or BLOCK, depending on your phone carrier.

Federal law (FDCPA) requires them to send you a letter (US MAIL ONLY) postmarked within 5 days of their first contact that contains their name, physical address, the creditor’s name, and the amount of the alleged debt.  It also must contains “mini-Miranda” telling you that it is an attempt to collect a debt and that all information will be used for those purposes.  The one other important thing that this letter must also have in it is that you have a right to dispute the debt within 30 days of receipt of the letter and if you do so, all collection activity must be stopped until the debt is verified.

Calling a business line and does not leave a message.

This number calls several times a day,,, morning and night... every day... for the past year! When does it qualify as HARASSMENT??? Damnit I want this to stop... How can I do this... TIRED and FRISTRATED

In addition to what I have already posted (you did read that didn't you?)

You will need to send them a certified, return receipt debt validation (by law they have to go back to the original creditor to prove you owe the debt), cease and desist calling, or "not me" letter (this will be the best money that you have ever invested).  Also send it first class mail in case no one will sign for it.  Make a notation of that fact at the bottom of the letter.  You also need to report them to the proper agencies to which I have provided links to.  Then you need to go out and get a consumer lawyer to sue them on a contingency basis (no money out of your pocket) and let them pay you for the harassment.  If everyone did these three things, these crooks would be bankrupt, and we would all be the richer for it.  Use these web sites to find an attorney in your state that will probably take the case on a contingency basis (no money out of your pocket up front):  http://www.consumeradvocates.org/
