Same number claims to be with Goldman and associates. Said a company named sagamore tried to loan me money in 2012 on an account that was closed in 2011 and felt like I was trying to fraud them. When i verified and asked to spell the company they were with they spelled Goldman and associates. I called that law for and they said it is a scam and is not them. I told the firm WHEN I find out who it is I will be hiring them to sue. Now to contact some of my black hat buddies. *WiNK wInk*

04/14/2015 Called ID 804-420-4838 Richmond VA: . Robo Call Threatening with a summons to serve at my home or place employment. these damn scam artists don't know when to quit. Changed my number in October just started getting these calls again. They are gold diggers. 7 years have not given these people a dime. That's what happens when the CEO of countrywide mortgage sells your identity... Identity Theft.,......BLOCK THEM, police cant do anything they change their numbers constantly. You call them back and they use latest technology to route to the foreign number.

I received the same phone call yesterday and today at my work place. Also my cell phone yesterday (which I blocked the #). Recorded message stating that my name and social security number are in jeopardy, and that I am being sued, and left a case # to refer to when calling back. Otherwise, I would be served with a summons at my workplace. I live in Texas, and this # is Virginia. I will not be calling them back. There is no company name associated to phone number when calling back, just a recorded message.

I received a call from this number today.....Claimed my social was used in a  fraud....Tried to give me a case number...I hung up the phone............

Process and Summons, 2 fraudulent charges in my county.

You're kidding, right??!!  Of course they are scammers - no legitimate entity does this.  Don't entertain them; call your local police or sheriff's dept., contact your state's attorney, and your state's attorney general's with all the info you have regarding these people.  I am willing to bet the farm that they have no legal standing anywhere in the USA!

Received a call today (4/16/2015) from this number from Richmond, VA at 12:15PM. I rejected it because I didn't recognize the number. They left a voicemail message which started off as a machine stating my full name and was followed by a woman that said: "I'm contacting you from the Processing Summons Division. I'm calling to notify you that there will be 2 charges filed against you in your county. Looks like fraudulent activity has been attached to your name and your social security number. *machine says my full name again* I do need to make you aware of your legal rights to address your charges prior to them being filed against you. You will need to do so before you receive your summons at your place of employment or at your home address. Once you're served your rights will be forfeited. Your case # is (machine states case # VOL******) Their telephone number is (machine states this # 804-420-4838). You will need to speak to someone in their legal department." I ended up calling them because I became nervous and wanted to figure out what this could possibly be about. I suddenly thought someone had stolen my identity. When I spoke to them they said Oakwood services is the creditor to the "outstanding loan" I took out online back in December 2011 and they are charging me with Breach of Contract and Attempt to fraud a financial institution. They are looking for $650.22 and asked if I would like to take care of that today. I said I wasn't going to take care of anything until I did my research and got to the bottom of it. She couldn't give me any other information regarding the company filing these charges against me except that I supposedly took out a loan and it was deposited into my Wachovia bank account. I hung up, did some research, found this site and read all the complaints and similar phone calls and I called them back. I spoke to someone named Michelle Carr. She asked me to verify the last 4 digits of my Social Security number to which I refused and she then stated those numbers. I asked her for a proof of the debt to which she said she couldn't give me because they were a paperless company. She kept referring to the company as "my company" so I asked her what the name of her company was and she said Goldman Associates and even spelled out Goldman. I asked her for their address but she again stated that due to company policy they couldn't give me that information. I informed them that they were in complete violation of the FTC and that I knew my rights. I then asked her to do me a favor and never call me again. She began to speak but I just hung up on her. I am going to report them. Hopefully they will be stopped.

got a call telling me that there was frauedulent charges aginst me and that i owe money. thanks to reading these comments i know now its a scam.

They are harassing me I'm fed up!

Same call, stating I was going to be served with a summons in my county for fraudulent activity with my name and social. I have received them for 2 months. I have done nothing to warrant a summons and have not participated in any fraudulent activity. I was very upset the first time. Now I just erase the voicemails.

Same here, started out calling from Vermont. Now Virginia. I have done nothing and was very upset at first, but now I just erase the voicemail messages.

I continue to receive these phone calls from 804-420-4838 stating that there has been fraudulent activity associated with my name and social.  They are calling me both at home and at work.  I called back and they put me on hold for 10 minutes.  I called back again and was asked for the last 4 of my social.  When I refused to give them the information they told me that they would not be able to give me any information unless I verified the last 4 of my social and then assured me that she was "looking at the whole thing" right in front of her.  When I questioned her further, she stated that she was with Goldman and Associates and that they were representing Mac or Mack Development Group.  When I told her that I was not even familiar with that business she threatened to terminate the phone call.  I told her that I would have my lawyer call back and she hung up.

I have been receiving a call from 804-420-4838 for about three weeks now and usually around the same time in the afternoon.

I have tried to call the number back as well as the number that they leave and no one answers.

I have been receiving calls from this number and its telling me that I have an fraudulent activity attached to my social security number and I will be served with a summons today. I reported it to police...

I got the same call from that number. First I get sued for three and a half million dollars. now I get this phone call. I am so tired of people trying to get over on me.

Same here.  Reported it to local police department.  Filed an official report of harassment and fraud.  So sick of these scumbags.

I have been getting these kinds of calls for almost 2 years, from different numbers all stating the same thing fraudulent charges and I'm being served TODAY they give me different case #s and and amounts. I keep blocking the numbers but they keep calling from other numbers, very irritating....One time an actual person called the main number at my work and called my Receptionist a Mother F$@#er!!!!  These are not true bill collectors!! Not sure how to file or report them if I never get a name or company...just many many different phone numbers
