Got a call from someone who would not tell me his name, but with coast to coast printing supplies. He insisted on me telling him my company's address. I kept insisting on letting me investigate his company first, and what is the number I can call you back at and get you directly. Never would tell me what I wanted to know. Kept giving me a spill about the best way to know who he is, is by trying his product. I then hung up. The last company I investigated were scammers. This one could be too.

Phone Toner Scam: The scam artist poses as a warehouse representative or vendor and makes contact with a targeted company. He will say "This is (first name), I need the model number off your copier". If the person who answers gives this info, the scammers will try to set up a shipment of toner. Of course, the deal is so good that the offer is based on a limited supply or limited time, pressuring the employee to act fast and get their money's worth. Upon delivery, both the employee and the company are usually in for a big surprise. The price of the invoiced toner is 2-3 times higher than expected, and the scam artist threatens with legal fines if the company fails to pay.

When I told him that we had previously asked to be removed from this calling list, the telemarketer tried to give me the speil about calling lists and they are sold all over the country. Bull crap, and it does not matter. This is the same number that has called us before.

Requested again to be removed and hung up on him.

the caller wanted to let us know it was time to reorder our toner cartridges for our copiers.  I said "what company are you with?" and they said it was our copier supply company calling.  I said "we get free supplies with our copier contract and you are scamming us for outside sales" the lady hung up.

We DO get free copier toner and supplies with our copier contract so I didn't lie to her...LOL
These people call about twice per week.

This harassment should be illegal !!!

I think that this company doe s a very good job services our needs. They do everything they say their going to do and always exceeds our expectations.  If you are not happy you can get directly to the President, Rick and he will make it right.  More companies should have such a greta leader who genuinely cares about their customers.

Very annoying - toner salesman.

super annoying and VERY unprofessional guy. everytime i asked for his contact info, he wouldn't decline, he would just change the subject... finally, i agreed to check our stock and he'd call back later. he never called back.

Received two calls today from Mark with Coast to Coast 805-244-9500.  
First call answered by another employee and said, Just a moment and set down the phone.  He stayed on the phone for a long time and when she hung up the phone he left a voice mail and called right back.  He is selling printing supplies so we said, Just a moment and set down the telephone.  He stayed on hold for a long time and eventually hung up.

Ouch, thats a bit harsh. I am sure if you gave the rep the time of day you would find out otherwise. Not everyone is a "scam" seeing as they have been in business over 25 years, never investigated by the FTC, and hold a good BBB grade. Its nice to call and talk to a human being located in the United States, now that is hard to find nowadays!

I believe that this is a very persistent scam.  When you voice your concerns to the caller (we have never ordered ink & toner supplies other than a local vendor/you have reason to believe this is a scam/not interested in outside sales calls) they get very angry as if you've offended them personally, and then personally attack you (along the lines of, "Excuse me??! What don't you understand? I'm calling so you can close your account with us?")  It seems as if there is a similar phenomenon happening on this website.

Even if they are a legitimate company, their sales callers are overly persistent, and incredibly rude.  Not a very good tactic.

Every time this number calls my company and I see it on my caller ID, I jump for joy!  My service representative is on the ball to say the least.

I have to agree ... though you may have a "bad seed" in every compnay... to judge them based on 1 phone call?  I investigated them also and found them to be a stand up company.  before blasting someone... maybe actually do some research.

I just saw this number on my caller ID.  When i get calls like this, I just tell them "I buy local" and hang up.  Don't waste your time with these turkeys.  Chances are they're selling a substandard product anyway that will wreck your printers.

Some man called trying to sell toners.  Told him not interested and remove my number.  I am sure I will just get another call tomorrow as they dont get the hint.  And why are Melissa and David posting fake reviews!! They obviously work for them!

I was on vacation and the owner was here answering the phones.  We get an average of 10 telemarketing calls per day and it is extremely annoying.  I am sure the owner was brief in stating she was not interested.  Well this company called back (male voice) and left a message stating "YOU HAVE A RUDE C*NT ANSWERING YOUR PHONES".  Apparently they forgot about caller ID when leaving this message - or just don't care.  We will be following up with this company to report this harassment and we will be happy to play the saved voice message above for them - as to how their employees are treating people.

Called our business line 3 times withing a 5 minute period. Hangs up when voice mail answers.
