- Receptionist replies to Rick SchulzNope. Legit companies don't use telemarketers. It's a scam run by pedophiles, as all telemarketing companies are.
- Receptionist replies to Maggie| 1 replyIf they did everything they said they were going to do, then they would have quit calling me a long time ago. They are trash, like all telemarketers.
- Titus KanbeeJust had a call from Sonja with Coast To Coast (805) 244-9500. I let her go through her entire speach and when she started asking me questions about what equipment I need supplies for. I said "Sorry would you repeat that I'm confused." "Did you say you had copier toner?" and "Do you pay the postage on all the shipments?" What if you send the wrong product do you take it back?" I finly said "Sonja, can you start over I didn't get what you first said". She gladly started over and when she got to the end of her speach, I said. "We arn't intrested and hung up." Loved it.

- Not HappyThey called one of my sites and told the person who answered the phone that they were purchasing toner for our company and needed to know the model of the printer. A week later, a $340 toner shows up . A month later, the invoice. I spent 4 hours on the phone with these wack-jobs today explaining to them they did not have authorization to purchase anything for our company and I was not going to pay it. I also contacted our primary toner supply company and they told me about the constant complaints about this company. I was given a quote for the same toner at 83 from our supplier. Anywho, watch out!

- Irritated"Nick" called from this number 3 times in 5 minutes. First asking for the Person in charge of ordering ink toners. I stated that was me and he went on his sales speech. When he asked for the model number of the printer I use most, I refused to give him a model number. (I know these scams) He got irritated and asked, "How do you expect me to quote you if you won't give me a printer." I stated he should have a price list for comparison. "We have over 100,000 models," was his response. "Not my problem" I said, "I'm no longer interested in a quote." He says, "You're not interested in saving money?" "Not with you, thank you." was my retort and I hung up. He called right back asking for my IT manager, apparently not recognizing my voice. I said, No. and hung up again. He called right back one last time and I stated that we were not interested in doing business with his company and he says, "You're not the decision maker, you're the secretary. I want to speak with the decision maker." I said even if I passed him to my corporate office, they would tell him NO because of how he's acting. This is a SCAM, just read all of the other comments and do not fall victim to them. Their website is coasttocoast.com, but their "Contact Us" link is broken and I do not feel like talking to another person there to file a complaint. Just because a business is BBB rated does not mean they are a good business!

- ScottThe sales tactic these type company's use is called "Cold Calling". They usually call and mention a name in your company that they have found on your website, if possible. They can be slick and sometimes dupe a person into agreeing to an order by using the price will go up next month, etc. They will want to fax you a quote and have you sign it and fax it back. Once you have done this, they usually have you on the hook to pay for a over inflated price. I deal with these types yearly at our university and remind my people yearly about how to handle them. Simply hang up the phone and report the call to your supervisor or purchasing department. While this may not be illegal, it is certainly not an ethical way to do business. Misleading or trying to "fool" a potential customer is not my idea of a reputable business...Melissa/Rick.

- OCSSomeone called from this number yesterday, but didn't leave a message. Based on what I'm seeing here, I'm putting them in my Telemarketer sandtrap system. Gotta love those pesky telemarketers ....

- JS| 1 replyI have been ordering toner from this company for a couple years now, and get a great priceson generics and the manufacturers brand. If you order a lot of toner for your company I say give them a try, we've ha problems here and there by they always set up a return no matter how old the purchase was, I say give them a try, it will save you a bundle compared to Office Depot and Staples

- MikeThis is just a toner reseller. I’m a toner reseller and they tried to sell me toner. The guy calling tried to give me the BS about their product is made in the US and its great and all of the other BS. One look at their web site and I recognized the pictures that they are using. Those impressive looking manufacturing pictures that they’re trying to make you think is they’re plant – it isn’t. So are pictures of a company called MSE. That’s a fact. The bottom line, they are misrepresenting themselves. Would you want to deal with a company that does that?

- Pickle replies to IPSI| 2 repliesYou should record a video of the message playing and upload it to youtube.com. It would be an amazing example of their rude and unprofessional behavior. They told me (in a "nice" but threatening way, once I declined to give him a name nor transfer him to anyone) that he could find out about me and the person he needs to speak with online. He called back and spoke to 2 other associates. Finally we just hung up on him. I am kind of looking forward to his call so I can place him on long hold or do something like that.
- ThiaGot the same sales pitch as most others here, except the gentleman that called me was a rude one. Told him we're under contract for our printers, thus the supplies too, and "of COURSE you are," while still trying to tell me there must be machines he could order supplies for for us. *g* I feel bad; we all have jobs, but no thank you.

- BabaBooeyFirst, NEVER divulge any info to these people - they are breaking the law for making sales calls to companies on the national do not call list. Secondly, do what I do - call them back and when they answer ask for their purchasing/computer dept. The lady who answered said, "You're KIDDING, right?" Hahaha
- Secretary| 3 repliesThis is what my boss told me to do. When they ask to speak to the person in charge of printing supplies, I cheerfully tell that person to 'wait one moment while I transfer your call' then I put that person on hold until she/he hangs up. This way, neither person is rude and it accomplishes the objective. Trust me, they will think twice before calling again. It's a numbers game --- the longer you keep them on hold, the fewer calls they can make.

- JOJOI was reading the messages and my first thought was how customers can be liars, and never fully believe what you read on the internet. I work for Coast to Coast, I have for 2 years. It is not a scam and we do not send toner unless you or someone in your company authorizes it. We have verification dept who is very through. Trust me I know, also our web site is www.coastcoast.com. please see above as somone stated it wrong. Also, if you have a complaint please contact the 800 number and ask to speak with Dave Zwack. he handles all rude sales people. If anyone in this company behaves in a manner that is unacceptable we do get in serious trouble and terminated. I ahve worked at many telemarketing companies, most sales people are rude and mean. that is why I quit. Here at C2C we believe in customer is always right and there are plenty of people to call, dont harrass the ones that are not interested. I have a question for each person who was annoyed by our calls. How did you find your current vendor? Most people will say they are local, great, but they had to make contact with you. please remember we are all just trying to get by in this world. not every sales person is rude and not every sales company is a scam.
