Whose number is this? I dont answer if it's an unkown number. Please leave a voice message.

i also have been getting calls all day from this #. i do not answer if i don't know who it is.

This number has been calling me all morning,I have not picked up and they are not leaving messages.

FYI: Call from 1-816-420-1002...never had this call before ...no message...
or caller ID...called very early in the morning...

I've been receiving calls from this number as well. It started Dec. 21st, 2007 and has persisted every day since then. They will call two to three times daily.

I do not usually answer unknown numbers but since they persisted, I answered. There was an AUTOMATED MESSAGE saying it was Citi Bank and that they had a message waiting for me - that I should press # to continue. I hung up immediately because...

1) I do not, nor have not, defaulted on any payments. I do not owe Citi Bank any money nor am I in serious debt.

2) If my bank wanted to contact me about my account, as a business, they would do so in one of the following ways: (A) Send me a letter in the mail; (B) Send me a secure e-mail - a function I have requested activated.

I'd advise anybody giving their security information out to this number to call the company directly to verify. If there weren't about 50 letters in the mail bugging you about your credit prior to the calls, I wouldn't trust the guy on the phone.

It must be Citibank- I have a card with them and I am late paying it.  I will pay it and see if the calls stop

I don't have a card with them so I don't know why they are calling me!!!

called three times so far. no one responded when i answered twice. the other time they got my voice mail and left no message.

They call my house about 5 times a day and they have NO reason for doing so.  I think they are affilited with another company/number 866-917-3791 because every time I get a call from the 816 number the 866 calls IMMEDIATELY following it.  So that's 10 calls or more a day from these two numbers.  I've written it all down and it's consistent every time.

Called her @ 8AM and now 12PM- answer, no one there~ reported to Do Not Call complaint form

I have received numerous calls from this number..No message is ever left and I don't answer calls that I am not sure of the number.  I am not late on any bills...

These unethical dropouts need to be shipped off to an island where they can feed on beach sand. What a fricking bunch of crooks! DO NOT GIVE OU TYOUR SS NUMBER AND DO KEEP TRACK OF YOUR PAYMENTS!Be aware the scammers are feeding. This is my first time dealing with these lowlifes and I caught on right away.

No more calls

I have received calls from three different people, all about the same time. The first one was supposedly from citicorp, 866-444-4986, then I got another call that said it was a toll free call that came from 800-453-7638.
Also, im gettting phone calls from 816-420-1002. All three are constantly calling. I checked with the websites of Citi and AT&T and the numbers dont match, even the numbers i have been told to call back at.

I know this has to be a scam.

I am never late for credit card payments, nor are there any problems with my account. I also did some calling to find some answers.

I called the numbers from citi's website. All of them started off with a computerized voice message system that was consistant. However, when I called the other three numbers, it goes straight to someone answering the phone asking for account nu,ber and password, credit card number, or social security number to validate.

This has got to be the biggest scam ive seen.

I just received a call from this phone number (at 8:07AM !!!). I did not answer it because I did not recognize the number. When I called back I heard a recorded message stating that I reached Citicards and to call back when they were open (???). I then called the Customer Service number from the citicards.com website to tell them about this and the rep said that my card was in good standing and my next payment was due on April 14. She had no knowledge of who was calling. She told me that perhaps it was a fraudulent call!!

I have a city and now ATT universal card is owned by citi. I have just checked my online accounts and all is fine. So STOP CALLING ME. I just emailed citi, and told them to stop calling me. I called the number and they are CLOSED. Go figure. Time to close my account!

BS, My accounts are paid, and they have their money. I just started getting calls all the time this week. Harasment! And abuse of their loyal customer who has paid my BILL!

I've received calls from this number periodically for the last two days.  There is a chime that keeps playing but nothing else. When I dial the number back it says that it's CitiCard. I will NOT be giving them my number over the phone unless they call me and I'm speaking with a live person.  Most likely this is a scam.

This is an obvious Phishing scam.
Don't fall for it.
