I looked at this post and decided to answer the 2nd call of the day.  It was someone who was supposedly calling on behalf of Home Depot for my Citibank account. Said I had a $100 credit and I could get it over the phone if I just gave them some info.  I told them to take me off their list and that I was not interested. Then hung up. Seemed like a total phishing scam although they did know my name and that I had a Home Depot account. Beware!

It cannot be from Home Depot because they are calling me and I don't have an account with Home Depot. They call every day and leave a recorded message that says visit payment.citi....it'S A PHISHING expedition.

That person posted here 6 years ago.  Now, according to your post, it tells you to go to Citibank?  Citibank issues Home Depot cards as well as other branded cards and their own cards.  Instead of having tunnel vision, is it possible that you have one of their cards?  If so that you need to address that issue.  If not, then you need to contact Citibank and have them remove your number as they are calling it in error.

I get calls from this # incessantly.  I answer and there is never anyone on the other end.  I blocked the # and next day get calls from a dif # that I tried to block and phone says it’s already blocked ?  Citicorp told me if it WAS them calling, a person would have been on the other end and they would have left a message.   I believe it’s a scam.... people fishing for information.   Don’t tell them ANYTHING! If they call and there is actually another person on the other end.    And if they call on a line you use for work.... report them.

So, this number is a Citibank call center number...but it is. Wing spoofed as well by scammers and phishing. Citibank brands cover Home Depot, Best Buy and a few others. If you get a call like this one, it is best to not answer questions until you call Citibank customer service directly and resolve your issues with the security department if you feel you are being targeted for SCAMS

For the past weeks I have been getting called by this number day and night. I keep also receiving emails about a Citibank "offer" and this is probably them trying to sell me stuff. My account in current. I  can't understand how calling day and night for weeks is a good selling tactic. I won't answer so go away!

It’s Citibank.  They call every time my Best Buy credit card bill is due.  I pay the bill and they stop calling.

This number has called My cell 50 times since 05/07/2018 even though I have them blocked with no relationship with Citibank whatsoever and have reported this to FTC and State Attorney General , They still call anywhere from 2 to 4 calls per Day!

Have you sent them a certified, return receipt letter telling them to stop calling you?  I would suggest that you think about suing them as well.

They have called My cell 63 times since 05/07/2018. I have them blocked and they keep calling seven days a week

Scammer posing as Citibank. Usually hangs up, sometimes tries to get your credit card number.

They keep calling and when I finally answered they asked for my ex-wife (who I divorced 10 years ago).  apparently they have a seriously messed up database for spamming people.  They refused to say who they are.

Well, who they are has been clearly stated multiple times by other posters.  However if you fail to read you fail to learn, especially where it comes to finding out how to stop them from calling.

And how does one do that when You have no address and don't know who they truly are?

I think I have Citi as one of my cards, but my caller ID didn't say Citi bank it marked it as Scam, very highly a scam number

I don't have a Citi card but I keep getting the calls.  Figure I'm just gonna block the numbers one at a time until I have them all.
