Didn't answer the call.  Scam alert

This is definitely a legit number.  When I called them they told me it was spam.  So I answered it and low and behold it's legit.  They were looking for my brother who I haven't seen in 5 years.  He moved and changed his number.  I tried to give Citibank his address and they didn't want it, just wanted a phone number.  Too weird to me but I know he owes them a lot of money because they send me email addressed to him.

They said they would take me off their call list and mark it as a wrong number.  Time will tell.

Called at least once a day, all hours, for the past two weeks.  Google says it's a Citi bank scam.

I don't have an account with Citi.

Pestered me about best buy billing, wanting all of my information and the such.

I have no account with citi.  I look at this as a scam.  Not even sure how they got my number? These scammers need to be stopped.

Getting calls from this number daily.  Never leaves a message.  I finally looked up the number and some items said it was a Citibank scam and others said it was a legitimate Citibank call.  So, I contacted Citibank through live chat as I DO have a card affiliated with them.  Here is the conversation:
You are now connected with Megan.
Me: I'm just wondering if 816-420-4632 is a legitimate Citibank number.
Megan:  Hello K****.  This is not a Citibank number, and there have not been any calls from us regarding this account.
Me:  should I report it to your fraud department?
Megan:  I have reported this number on your behalf.  If you receive any calls from this number again, they should be ignored.
Well, I won't be ignoring the calls.  As soon as it was confirmed bogus, the number was blocked.

And?  What was the call about?

Scam number, ignore.... Do not even answer or let it go to voicemail!

Vetizon blocked the # as Potential Spam. I tried to call it back and its disconnected. Scam Call for sure!

I had a similar experience to those reported here. I could barely hear what the guy was saying, and I did not understand it, but I picked out enough words to realize I got the same kind of call.
I blocked the number on my cell phone and reported it to my carrier.
