    Well known around here.

You need to send them a certified, return receipt debt validation (by law they have to go back to the original creditor to prove you owe the debt), cease and desist calling, or "not me" letter (this will be the best money that you have ever invested).  Also send it first class mail in case no one will sign for it.  Make a notation of that fact at the bottom of the letter.  You also need to report them to the proper agencies to which I have provided links to.  Then you need to go out and get a consumer lawyer to sue them on a contingency basis (no money out of your pocket) and let them pay you for the harassment.  If everyone did these three things, these crooks would be bankrupt and we would all be the richer for it.  Use these web sites to find an attorney in your state that will probably take the case on a contingency basis (no money out of your pocket up front):  http://www.consumeradvocates.org/
    http://www.consumeradvocates.org/find-an-atto ... tates_value=All

Everything else you need to know follows including at least two agencies where you should report their criminal activities.

Web site lists him as an attorney that also does debt collection and gives an address that is probably in a virtual office:
    http://www.jonathancfrank.com/
    BBB gives him an F rating with 4 complaints:  https://www.bbb.org/houston/business-reviews/ ... ton-tx-90041144

There is no LLC registered in Texas or any other state for that matter which would preclude this enterprise from legally conducting business, which a “lawyer” should know.  Suddenly they are now registered in several states:
Bizapedia has this on their Texas registration:
Company Name:      JONATHAN C. FRANK & ASSOCIATES, PLLC

    File Number:      0802412394

    Filing State:      Texas (TX)

    Filing Status:      Active

    Filing Date:      March 11, 2016

Company Age:      1 Year 6 Months

    Registered Agent:                Jonathan Charles Frank
    2605 Capitol Street
    Houston, TX 77003

    Principal Address:                2605 Capitol St
    Houston, TX 77003-3205

They are not registered with the Dept. of State in Texas as a collection agency and they do not seem to have the required necessary surety bond.
    LinkedIn page:  https://www.linkedin.com/in/jonathan-frank-b59a3a44
Texas BAR registration indicates he has been a lawyer for around 18 months:
    https://www.texasbar.com/AM/Template.cfm?Sect ... ontactID=338338
Whois information on his web page indicates that it less than a year old and will expire next month:

Federal law (FDCPA) requires them to send you a letter (US MAIL ONLY) within 5 days of their first contact that contains their name, physical address, the creditor’s name, and the amount of the alleged debt.  It also must contains “mini-Miranda” telling you that it is an attempt to collect a debt and that all information will be used for those purposes.  The one other important thing that this letter must also have in it is that you have a right to dispute the debt within 30 days of receipt of the letter and if you do so, all collection activity must be stopped until the debt is verified.
Read up on your rights here, get template letters to send and also make a complaint at this government site: http://www.consumerfinance.gov/

Also file a complaint with your State Attorney General's office.
List of State AG’s offices:  http://consumerfraudreporting.org/stateattorneygenerallist.php

Since he is a member of the Texas bar, use this information to file a complaint against him also: https://www.texasbar.com/AM/Template.cfm?Sect ... ContentID=31917

Tyler left a couple messages on my machine. I'm not an idiot so the first thing I do is google to find out it's a scam. I decided I'd have fun and mess with him the next time he called, but he happened to get me right as I sat down at my desk at work. I hung up on him and he called back and left a message, he was maddddd lol.

Listen Tyler, I'm not falling for your [***]. Nice try though. Solid attempt. Now go get a real job.

This caller is a scam artist.  You claim that action will be "filed without my involvement," Amber Jones, the only claim that will be filed is mine against you and your bogus operation.

A Kevin Egan keeps calling leaving a voicemail about a debt I owe but never state what the debt is for. He states that he works with the law office of Jonathan C Frank but I called the number back just to see what it says and it didn't say it was the law office of Jonathan C Frank, it was some automated system that said to leave a message and someone will get back with me because everyone was on other lines. For one, that's not how an office works and two, it also said that their office hours were in Eastern time which doesn't make sense if they're located in Texas.

I'm sure if you were to pay your bills, people would not be calling you. I have spoken with Amber Jones numerous times, pertaining to a verified debt. It was on oversight on my part, and she helped me pay it off, sent me letters, and got the mark off of my credit. Do not listen to everything you read on the internet.

Left me a voice mail stating my full married name and my maiden name saying they have sent letters to the past and present places I have lived and I have failed to contact them. Called from the office of Johnathan C Franks....said it was extremely important that I or my attorneys contact them regarding the claim against me. Gave me no details and ive yet to get anything in the mail or other calls. I right away looked up the number and first thing I read is SCAM. They do a good job at scaring you, and yes I have debt but its being takin care of. Dont fall for their crap. Block the calls and move on.

Perhaps you should pay your own bills, instead of exhorting others to pay theirs.  It is abundantly clear that you do not.

We have been getting a lot of posts in the DC threads for this particular crook.  I guess he must be upset that he can't steal money from the people who visit here.
