Very rude person when I answered I hung up on them...

Caller ID says "Monarch Recovery".  Kept calling so I finally answered and it was an automated voice activated caller looking for a family member.  I was given the option to select button 1, 2 or 3 declaring that I was that person, OR I needed more time to get that person, Or that person is not at this phone number.  So far they have not called again.

They just called me. Collection agency for sure.

What really aggravates me about these collectors is that they call the relatives.  I have been getting calls several times daily and I have no debt.  I don't think it is fair to harass family members.

Yes, they repeatedly call. Same problem. I have had a number for several years that belonged to someone who skipped out on a student loan. It seems a new debt collection company takes it over every so often and starts calling. I explain the situation and the company may stop calling but once some other company takes on the account they start all over again. oh well

My 85 year old mother was bilked out of her life savings from this trash and I have called everyone even the banks no one will help hopefully God will make things right for what they have done to a woman that worked 52 years never missed a day of church and would give you the cloths off her back no matter who you where or what you done. The cowards should be strung up and and left to dry. Be aware 844 call to you are billed to you this should not be allowed by lay. But as your local DA will tell you the law is for the defendant not the plaintiff.

I hate id caller unknown who called us then I put to keep block them.

These folks have called before looking for my niece who lives 100 miles from me and has never lived in my house which I explained to them, they said would I call her tell  her we need to speak to her, I asked them if they had her number they said yes but she will not take their calls, I said then it's between you two...it ain't my problem..They got indignant and started to say something else but I hung up and promptly blocked their number

Probably Monarch Debt Collection as others have mentioned. They sent me a letter in the mail trying to collect on a closed bank account.

Monarch Recovery. Currently involved in a Class Action lawsuit for their questionable practices. Be advised if you are being harassed by them.

Called at different times from different numbers. Always starting with 844. Sounds like a bill collector...but I have nothing they can collect on! Oh well... Just block 'em

I keep getting phone calls from this number that I am being sued.

Invest in a call blocker that allows you to block entire area codes.

Tell them to mail you proof of the debt. Legitimate debt collectors will do so and in fact are required to do so within 5 business days of their initial phone call. Refusal to do so indicates a scam.

This is an old message and I know you will never see my reply but others may so here goes: Calling them back does NOT give them permission to continue calling you. If they're violating the DNC, calling them back does not negate that violation.

As well as the fact that these are debt collectors and not telemarketers selling anything, ergo not covered under the DNC registry/Telemarketing Sales Rule.
