Every morning I am getting a call from this number and sometimes leave a message saying he is a debt collector and wanted to contact him. I am getting this type of nonsense call but they don't mention any name.

Tired of this Jody M.giving this #. For yrs now I've gotten debt collectors calling for Jody "pay your damn bills". This latest from this Monarch (Wal-Mart credit card), needs to improve credit check b4 dealing out cards.

Rec’d calls on both my home and cell numbers they ask for me by name then want personal information which I told them to stick it unless they tell me who or what they represent rather than continue arguing just blocked the number

they called me and asked me to verify my bday and the last 4 of ssn. I told them that I do not give out any part of my ssn to any unknown incoming callers. They then said oh ok thank you and hung up lol

By reading the other posts I found out that this is Monarch Recovery Management.

You will need to send them a certified, return receipt debt validation (by law they have to go back to the original creditor to prove you owe the debt), cease and desist calling, or "not me" letter (this will be the best money that you have ever invested).  Also send it first class mail in case no one will sign for it.  Make a notation of that fact at the bottom of the letter.  You also need to report them to the proper agencies to which I have provided links to.  Then you need to go out and get a consumer lawyer to sue them on a contingency basis (no money out of your pocket) and let them pay you for the harassment.  If everyone did these three things, these crooks would be bankrupt, and we would all be the richer for it.  Use these web sites to find an attorney in your state that will probably take the case on a contingency basis (no money out of your pocket up front):  http://www.consumeradvocates.org/

It is incumbent upon them under the law to prove that the debt exists and that you owe it, and (this is the important part) that they have the legal right to collect it.  You are not obligated under the law to prove that you don’t owe or that it is paid.  

Federal law (FDCPA) requires them to send you a letter (US MAIL ONLY) postmarked within 5 days of their first contact that contains their name, physical address, the creditor’s name, and the amount of the alleged debt. It also must contains “mini-Miranda” telling you that it is an attempt to collect a debt and that all information will be used for those purposes.  The one other important thing that this letter must also have in it is that you have a right to dispute the debt within 30 days of receipt of the letter and if you do so, all collection activity must be stopped until the debt is verified.  If and when you get that letter you should immediately send that debt validation letter by certified, return receipt mail.

make sure you get the caller's name & phone number/company they work for.  Tell them you had this number since date you got it.  Tell them you will file a complaint with the FTC over harassing phone calls & also may take legal action if they continue to call.   Usually works for me.

rang once & hung up.  They had my name when I called back (caller ID???) asked for my SSN & birthdate.  Told them I didn't give out such info over the phone.  Answered as Monarch debt collector.  If only I could block the number from calling.

This Monarch Recovery calls often. Most of the time, leaves no message. Today, it was a recorded message to call 844-280-6008 or go to their website. They leave no reference numbers, names, or anything. Sorry, Monarch. I pay my bills on time, all the time. Move along now. Buzzards.

Bottom feeding debt collector looking for someone I don't know. Constant harassing calls which are illegal. They refuse to deal with any type of logic and they have no fear of legal repercussions. Just block their number. It's the only way to save yourself the stress from their harassment.

Collection agency harassing friends and family. Completely illegal based on Fair Credit Act.

The "Fair Credit Act" which doesn't exist has nothing to do with debt collection.  If you are referring to the Fair Credit Reporting Act, that again has nothing to do with debt collection but does have to do with reporting accurate credit reports (hence the name).  They are allowed to call other people one time unless they have reason to believe those people can help to locate you.  I notice that on page 9 there is a detailed post that even tells you the correct name of the act you should be referring and also tells you what you should be doing, how you should be doing it and which Federal and State agencies to complain to.

Just got a call from the number. Left no message. I didn’t answer either since I don’t know the number. Caller ID says monarch recovery. Never heard of them

Got a call from this #. They left a voicemail stating my sister in deep crap and she not registered so they believe she with me & ic i don't call back they'll come knocking at my door to verify. They also introduced themselves as Judicial Services & her name was "Tanya Green"
