Called, No Message .... BLOCKED!

Received various calls from this # & once I answered, They claimed searching info to reach my son concerning gov't school loans..... after telling them they had wrong # still receive random calls. I have seen letters from "Performent Recovery" to my son re: school loan debt. So..... I am assuming they do collections for various gov't debt

True, we had a small business debt from 2012 and the IRS turned it over to Performant Recovery Inc. The IRS sends you a letter telling you this and then Performant sends you a letter.

Called my cell then my home phone ....stupid robots.....this would be a time where these fooktards would be calling....covid19 bots. TRASH

Phone rang 7.30.20 at 1 pm. I don't pick up unknown callers.  I don't have ANY outstanding debts to anyone.  They did not leave message.

Why did you feel the need to post that when it has been posted multiple times in this thread?

Performant is attempting to collect past due taxes. All the taxes they're attempting to collect are well past the state statute of limitations and are also past the Federal statute of 10 years for IRS matters. Know your rights. They have no legal basis to seek judgments or make entities on credit reports.

Received a call from this number claiming they were calling on behalf of the IRS. First I don’t owe any back taxes. Second the IRS sends you a letter not a phone call.
