Just to let you know..... I'm not sure it's official.  When I called it I got some guys voice mail???

This is a scam company they carged be $400 for nothing

No caller ID name.  Did not answer and they left no message.

The call comes in on caller ID as customer service. I answered it. First thing the caller said was he was from HP and that my computer was sending them a notice I had a virus. I immediately told him that I would contact my sister who owns a computer company. I hung up, called HP to double check that they are not making calls, they said they will not ever call anyone. I called the Federal Trade Commission they said that this is a scam so I gave him the number and reported it. The people had the nerve to call me again today. So everyone be careful!

Do they have any personal info like your name, address, etc.

Received the call today..He actually asked for me by my first name and informed me i had PC problems..I knew immediately this was fishy so I replied he was speaking with the police dept...Click!  Guess he fixed my PC problem remotely...

That keep calling saying I have a computer virus, when I told them they were lying he started to insult me with very nasty language.

This I.R.S. scam call came from a J. Chabay, either he lives in Alexandria Virginia or has relocated to Atlanta Ga.

Just got the call, samething said they are getting messages i have a virus, i hung up called number back it went to smart hp auto system, a guy came on told me it was a scam calling me, i said well i called number back and got you. He said its a scam but for 14 a month we can protect you from scammers i lol and hung up

Received call saying I had a virus. Very fishy. East Indian man saying his name is Mike cook

This number has been calling me repeatedly for days now.  I answered on Saturday and the caller with an Indian accent said he was from HP and they were getting a notice from my computer about my junk file being too big or something to that effect.  Had me open my event viewer and stated I shouldn't have the number of errors that were in there.  Even after yelling at the guy telling him to stop calling me they've repeatedly been trying to call me since then.

Same deal as everyone else Indian man named "Edward smith" saying he was from hp and said my computer was sending notifications. Thought it sounded wrong too. He is suppose to call me back in 15 min because my computer is in the middle of updating. I think I will tell him to go fly a kite. I have trend antivirus.

Thanks I got the same call.  About two months ago I down loaded a software that I thought it was coming from HP.  it turned out to be a scam from 1-844-814-1800.  trying to sell me there service. it's always some guy with an Indian accent.

He knew my name and computer model too.  He kept saying that he was with HP.

just got a call telling me it was windows tech support and they were getting error messages from my HP computer and gave me a serial number that did not match my computers then hung up..... what's up wit that !?

Called today and said his name was John. I laughed and said to him I lived in Mumbai for 12 years, my father was a diplomatic  attache with the consulate office, and that I recognized his regional accent. I informed him in the 12 years I lived in India I had never met a native Indian named John and asked him what his game was. He hung up.

Got the same call these people knew my name model of my computer when the warranty on my computer expires they had a lot of personal information. Even though I was uncomfortable with the call I allowed them on my computer. After a while they try to get me to buy some product so they can fix it I refuse and cut them off, but it was too late they lock my computer with virus, it cost me  $120 to clean my computer and that's because I have warranty on it. So please don't do what I did, even though I was suspicious I still allow these people on my computer.
