- MelvinI have had 12 calls from this number. They call up to 3 calls a day. The last time I told him to take my name off their list as I know it is a scam. He denied it was a scam and when I told him to go to hell, he hung up. I have had 2 calls since, the last one being this morning. I just let it ring until it stopped. How do I block this number from calling my phone. There has to be some way or someplace to report it to that can research it and stop them.

- Charlynreceived a call from this number stating that he was from HP and that my brand new HP computer was sending them notification about some sort of detected virus. Usually I don't ever answer unknown number but I was in the middle of moving and applying for a job so I was expecting phone calls so you can only imagine how annoying it was for me to receive this phone call. I yelled at this guy who had an Indian accent and told him to stop calling me. They do not take no for an answer. Such a pest! SCAM!!!!

- ArshallClearly a scam. He claimed to be from Dell and wanted me to enter dell.com / dell-connect, which would lead to giving him full control of my computer. I kept him on the phone for a half-hour pretending to follow his instructions and getting error messages.. He swore and hung up when I told him I don't have internet.

- Ann replies to Pam| 2 repliesThis is a scam. These calls used to come in under another number. They changed the number but the scam is the same. I called HP and was told that they don't call the customer and that this is definitely a scam.
- DarrylSame thing, virus scam. But you must realize that the phone companies get paid for every single call made, regardless who makes the call. This is why they will NEVER ever support legislation that prohibits these kinds of calls. They make millions off you and I and then try to sell you anti-scam services. They got us coming and going. That makes the phone companies complicit in these scams, not much different than the getaway car driver in a bank robbery. Welcome to the tech age!
