I got a call also. No message. It just said pensacola, florida .
This sounds like someone scamming. Who do we report this to?

I had a call from this number.  Since I didn't recognize it, I didn't answer (was on my cell).  I tried calling back out of curiosity and go that it was disconnected or no longer in service.  That was only 30 minutes after the missed call.  That was a fast disconnect, huh?

i'm so dumb, i gave them all my credit card info and address and now i dunno what to do..i called my credit card to change it but i'm super paranoid now..

I just got a call from 850-433-1850 listed as Pensacola, FL.  It was a recorded message saying "Congratulations" and that I had just won a trip to the Caribbean.  It went on to say something like "To claim this prize Press.....".  Once I heard that I just hung up.  I knew it would be a junk call, with that funky number, but I wanted to see what it was so I could look it up.  Seems it has changed from a car warranty scam to a vacation scam!

i stupidly pressed 2 to be removed from the list. anyone know if this will have some detrimental effect?

I get calls from these people all the time. Have ask them to put me on their DNC list...Nothing helps. If you start asking questions they hang up. Now I press 1 and when they answer I give them a peace of my mine. I know it want help but I sure get a kick out of it...

My mom just answered the phone from this number, and they used the car warranty trick. My mom's car is 20 years old.

Upon answering my phone, a recorded message began with something to the effect, "this call is in relation to your credit card account.  There is no problem with your credit card, but it is to lower your interest rate . . . "  The intro concluded with "to speak to a LIVE represetative press one."  Having gotten many other calls from this number, concerning a number of other telemarketing items, I decided to "speak to the live representative and ask to BE REMOVED from their automated call system.  I have reported these calls a number of times to the DO NOT CALL system, yet they continue.  A male answered when I pressed 1. I told him I was calling to be removed from their system and that I had reported these calls to DO NOT CALL.  He BECAME VERBALLY ABUSIVE IMMEDIATELY ...yelling such as "this is a free country and I'll call any number I want any time I want . . . "  The only other information I could gain was that the caller ID on my phone showed "Dunson, VA" as the location from which the call was coming, not Florida.

Same message, lower your credit card rate to ....
Pressed 1 to talk to representative and told him I want to be removed from their list. He took my name and asked about my address. My reply was informative about how illegal was they were doing. Click , he hung up the phone. Called the number back. The prompt was that it is a disconnected number.

this call came to our phone, but no message, we are on the no call list.

Just received a call regarding lowering my interest rate on credit cards that it would expire soon.  He asked for my name and I asked him which credit card and he hanged up on me.  What a jerk.

Hang-ups on a number on the Do Not Call Registry. PEOPLE--report this number at http://www.donotcall.gov, under "File A Complaint."

It seems this number is used for many different types of calls. I recv'd a call from this number this morning. It wasn't about lowering my credit card rate.... the recorded message said I had just won a trip, blah blah blah... I hung up.

How can you "win" anything if you didn't "enter" the contest??? That always amazes me!

No message left but according to all the comments this one takes the cake! Vacation trips, car warranties and a lower interest rate. Wow "Virginia Dunson"...you're talented!!

received  call from (plus) +850 433 1850 recorded message sounded somewhat urgent. My account was passed due or about to expire etc. and that I could get interest rate lowered dial 1 for live operator so did. I asked which account was he refering to he said master card visa. I said I didnt have either and asked whos name was it in, he then hung up. I call the number back got recording saying my international number can not be completed as dialed.

How can they lower my interest rate on my credit cards when I don't have any??  I guess that means they will have to pay me??

They called 8 times in ten minutes.

Here's what I've been doing.  I've been all of a sudden all kinds of calls like these and I am not behind in anything NOR do I have an auto loan.  I am on the Do Not Call Registry, so I take all the info, go to the Do Not Call site and file a complaint.  The more people that do this, the faster these companies/scam artists can be busted.

I got a call from this number on my home phone while I was at work. They didn't leave a message. As I used to live in Pensacola, I was curious as to who might have called me, so I googled the number and came up with this site.

This number just called my cell phone. I googled the number because when I tried to call it, it said it had been disconnected.
