They just called me and told me I won a free cruise! OH YEAH!...RIGHT!
I suspect that it is the stupid car warranty people again. They have been sending me snail mail and calling me a lot lately. It's a scam.

I turned them in at donotcall.gov because I'm on the "do not call" list. I urge everyone here to do the same if you are on the list.

I missed a call from this number about 45 minutes ago while eating in a noisy restaurant.  I'm glad I didn't hear it ringing.

This number just called my cell phone.  Thanks to all of you who have reported it, I did not call back.

Just got a call from this number on my home phone. Did not recognize the number so did not answer. No message left. Googles the number to see if it was someone I needed to call back. Apparently not!

If "I" find out one specific entity making these calls, you can rest assured that you will never get another call from them. I'm just that kinda guy you hear and read about on the evening news. Trust me.

I received a recorded call regarding car warranty. I will hunt down these people and create a very big mess for someone else to clean up, if you get my drift.

I also had this number on my caller id when I tried to call the number back it said that it had been disconnected.

I got a call from 850-433-1850 listed as Pensacola, FL.  It was a recorded message saying "Congratulations" and that I had just won a trip to the Caribbean.  It went on to say something like "To claim this prize Press 9 or press 1 to remove yourself from the call list". I was curious so I hit 9 and was disconnected

Recorded message said that I had won a free trip to the Bahamas. To claim your prize press 2, to remove your # from this list, press 8. I pressed 8 and heard "Your number has been removed from this list." At which point I hung up. Kind of paranoid now that I confirmed that my number was actively monitored. Ugh.

Rcvd call from 850-433-1850 at 2015, I hate it when companies think they can start calling random numbers.  Good thing I don't answer calls that I don't know about.

Just now got this call, didn't know the # and let it go to Voicemail.  A recording trying to extend the coverage of my vehicle, and something about pressing one.

Received call from this number on my cell.  Strange area code so didn't answer.  No voicemail.

I received a call from this number and instead of pressing the automatic hang-up, I chose to speak to a live operator to have my name and number removed from their call list. They refused to do so. I asked several times to speak to a supervisor when the person I was speaking to refused to remove my number. He finally told me he would transfer me to his "supervisor." I then spoke to someone who sounded suspiciously identical to the original person! At that point he asked for personal information "so he could remove me from the list" at which point I hung up. I also called back and got the "this number is no longer working or has been  disconnected" voice message. I wonder if they have put that recording on their system and automatically answer any inbound calls that way? This can NOT be a legit biz.

Just got the same call. Tried calling it back frommy cell phone twice and got the good old, this number has changed or has been disconnected. Good old Caller ID Hoax which is patently illegal. I filed a complaint at http://www.donotcall.gov 

Hopefully they catch these creeps.

got call this morning...didn't recognize number...didn't answer

got a call at 920am today from MY credit card company VISA OR MASTERCARD wanting to lower my interest rates.  all of my home business is done on my home phone and they called my cell.  when i questioned them about exactly what credit card it was, the guy on the line just kept repeating YOUR CREDIT CARD, i asked to speak to his manager and was promptly hung up on.  when i tried to redial the number of course it was out of service.

Hey I just had the same problem. This number called me but didntleave a message or anything. Ill post another one if they try anything and let everyone know. This is bs and I hope they get caught. These postings from u guys has made me more aware! THANK U ALL! When they called me i just got a missed call on my cell phone! I recommend that you file a police report describing what happened. Tell the police the information you supplied to the evil caller. This report could come in handy down the road if you experience identity theft as a result of the call. Depending upon the information you supplied, you might want to contact your bank(s) and alert them to what occurred.

I also recommend that you (1) request free credit reports from each of the three major credit reporting companies (You are entitled to one free report from each company annually.), (2) that you request a CREDIT REPORT FREEZE with each of those companies, and (3) that you opt-out of direct mail credit card offers:
