Colorado -- got a call from 850-433-1850. No message was left.

Car Warranty about to expire?  Only c/w I have ever had expired 25 years ago.

Agent immediately started with do you want to lower your credit card interest rate.  He did not identify himself and when I began to ask him questions about what company he represented he would not answer but stayed to his scripting.  I finally hung up on him.

My husband was just contacted by "Warranty Division" #850-433-1850 on his cell phone.  Caller said his car warranty was about to expire.  He repeatedly asked what car and what his name was and the woman became extremely flustered.  He then explained how 1 month ago I received numerous mailings from Dealer Warranty Services who had claimed that my warranty which expires in 3 years was about to expire and wanted to sell me a $3,000 warranty.  Woman eventually hung up on my husband and when he tried to call back he got a message that the number was disconnected.  If they call ask the questions that will get them flustered:  "Which car?  or "What car do I have?" or "What's my name?"  Things like that.

Do you know that the first link in your opt-out links which claims to be a dot.gov asks for name, address, date of birth and SS#?  Why would they need that information to opt out of phone calls?  I suggest readers beware of this link.

This is a scam. When I asked to speak to a supervisor/manager/legal department I was told to shut up and themn when I kept pressing for more information I was told to go to hell by the rep who identified her self as Channell. I filed a complaint with the FCC. If you get a call from this number file a complaint.

We just got a phone call from this # but we home educate our children and don't answer the phone during school hours.. I was curious as to the origins of the phone #, as we don't know anyone in Pensacola, FL, so did a reverse address and then a web search of the phone #--how I found this message board. I'm glad we didn't answer the phone that's for sure.

Those losers even call Canada!! 9:15 in the morning and my husband works nights :P I just picked up the phone and didn't say anything so there was silence for a long time, ha ha they can pay for calls to nothing.  Put the phone down so I don't know when they hung up.

Just received a call from this #.  Did not leave a message.  Tried calling it back and got "we're sorry. this # is disconnected or no longer in service".  Hoodlums and scumbags is all these companies are.

Some man with an accent called from this number. I asked him what he was calling for and how he got my number. I couldn't understand what he was saying. I think he was talking gibberish on purpose. So I started talking real loud and slow. I said, " WHAAAAT ARE YOOOOOOOOOOU CAAAAAAAALLING FOOOOOOOR???" I guess it made him feel stupid. He asked me why I was yelling. I said, "This is MY phone! I can yell if I want!" So he said, "Shut up an go to hell!" and hung up on me. Those foreigners barely know english, but they sure know how to swear! lol

I just got a message to lower my interest rate on my credit card.  I stayed on the line, when the representative answered, I asked what was his call about. I had him on speaker phone and he noticed it. I told him that my other phone was dead and he hung up on me. That tells me he was up to no good.

Said my credit card interest rates were about to go up. Funny thing is, I don't own any credit cards & dont knnow where they got my number.
I'm also on the national do not call list.
I also got a text message 2 days before from 49324 telling me I won something etc etc.

WHAT IS GOING ON!

THIS ONE IS JUST AN ATTEMPT AT IDENTITY THEFT, NOT EVEN TELEMARKETING.  I've gotten it on the home phone and the business line a day apart.  I'm pretty sure the caller ID is just completely fake, and they're calling from some VOIP account. They're just asking outright for scraps of personal information, and the story keeps changing.  REMEMBER-CALLER ID CAN BE FAKED, and is therefore USELESS anymore.  By the way, there's an ad on this site above the box I'm typing in to---"Display Any # on Your Caller ID. It's Totally Legal, Private & Fun!"---

I just got a all from the 850-433-1850 number. I didn't answer the phone. As soon as the answering machine answered, they hung up. I called back the number and got a message saying the number was disconnected or no longer in service. So, in the span of one minute, they disconnected their phone. Yeah, right.

Caller ID unknown.  Did not answer no message left.

They are calling asking to mark #1 for a way to lower our interest rate and #2 to opt-out, they called back today even though I chose #2. I'm on the do-not-call registry and the only people that normally call are non-profits because they are exempt.

I can't seem to find them with reverse number searches, yellow/white page, etc. All I know is that they are called "South Central Bell" and that they have had tax trouble and what not with the federal government (if I got the right people). They are located in Pensacola, Fl and they are near the intersection of N. Palafax St. and W. Gadsen St.

Make sure you report this to the donotcall.gov registry.  if they get enough of these complaints, they will go after the company (civil and criminal)
