I read something the other day about this.  It appears that the sicker you are, the more Medicare pays these insurance companies to handle your claims.  So the reason for the visits is to qualify you to get more money from Medicare.

Sick to death of these people calling my number. If they are wise enough to leave a message and it's something I want, I will reply.

IF this is a call from someone contracted by MY healthcare provider then why does the number come up as anonymous.  Sketchy!.   I should be receiving notification from MY healthcare provider that they have contracted with such a company and name them and that company's number should be visible on my caller ID.  Also sketchy that you're the only post saying positive things and your name is ANONYMOUS.

Month Ago I spoke briefly with one of the reps offering this service. I explained that I am capable of scheduling my own appointments. They are persistent in offering the in home nurse practitioner. I again said I didn't need it. I thought I'd be off there list, apparently not. This service seems like they're trying to push it on individuals who don't really need it. I'm not even returning the calls.

I receive calls from this number every day.  I don't answer and they don't leave a message.  I'm retired and I don't appreciate someone calling @ 8:30 am.  This number is not from Matrix.  I do get the calls from Matrix, but they leave a message.  They used to say, "Hi, my name is Sally".  Now it's "Hi, my name is Jackie".  My husband and I had the nurse come once years ago.  They check your heart and BP and then ask many, many questions that my PCP , who I've been going to for many years, doesn't even know; i.e., have you ever been abused?  I was offended.  It's none of their business.  And they file a report that many people have access to.  I called Matrix and told them I'm not interested; take me off of their list and don't call me any more, but to no avail.

Non-profit?  In the medical field?  Don't be ridiculous.  There is no such thing beyond a few clinics in 3rd world countries.  They are in it to make money and the only way to accomplish that is to succeed in their telemarketing campaign.  They may be legit but they are not a charity.

Had a 'nurse' visit couple years ago. Said I would get report. Still waiting for the first report but getting calls constantly and I refuse them anything and asked to see first report before any future contact but they keep calling  I have Aetna Medicare supplement but I see other insurers listed.. I believe this a Obamacare death panel call to seniors. Are they calling 20-30 somethings?  I don't trust this group and neither should you.

Medicare Advantage plans get paid more by Medicare if you are actually sicker than they think you are.  So they hire companies like this to qualify you as being sicker so they get more money.

they are obtaining your information illegally by trolling enrollments in Medicare. Said they got my info from Aetna,,,,,,,,however Aetna does not have the phone # they call. HIPAA and do not call FTC violations! planning lawsuit if you care to join

Called on behalf of Providence, my health insurer. Wanting to send nurse to my home for health care visit. Offering 50 dollar gift card. I said I was not interested. They were not rude nor did they press me after I declined.

Received a call from this number at 8:20am. Did not answer.  I have Aetna, but the plan I currently have is not being offered in 2018. They should stop bothering me. I blocked the number.

Today I received my FOURTH answered phone call from this company;all with the same offer,a once a year health assessment for my spouse and myself,performed by a licensed nurse practitioner.This service is offered free by our insurance;although I feel that the concept is good for some people I do not feel I need the service at this time for either my spouse or myself.I am a retired R.N. with 49 years of experience and I am currently managing both my spouse and myself's health needs,including medication and various Dr visits,labwork,tests etc. I know we live in Florida and many of these callers are ASSUMING that we are not of sound body and mind but there are a few of us left!! I have asked them to stop calling with the offer and further stated that if I needed help in the future I would call them.I was presented with 2 options,I could be put on the do not call list NEVER to be called again or they would continue to call me in a few days,weeks or months!!! great choices right!! as I previously stated,this was the 4th call I actually answered I have opted out of answering approximately 10 others.....FRUSTRATING... ANNOYING ...try to be nice but they dont get the message,bottom line is it should be MY CHOICE and I shouldn't have to continue to receive phone calls with the same offer
