this number called my phone 4 times in less than an hour. they just hang up. im so tired of being harased in my home by people calling my phone. im ready to get rid of it.

Heres what you do.  Type this out ahead of time so you can read it when they call. After you answer start reading,  "The number you have reached, XXX-XXX-XXXX has been disconnected.  No further information is available about XXX-XXX-XXXX.  If you need assistance please call the operator."  And then hang up.  Works every time.

I live in Montreal, Canada and just saw that they tried to call me. I am not a TD customer either! Did not answer.

855-496-4285 called me.  I picked up.  It is a survey from TD Bank if you live in Canada.  Everytime I go into the bank and do a transaction, I get a call from the survey company within 2 days.

Asked for my son I wouldnt give his phone number.

I also received a call from this number.  They were inquiring about a recent visit to my bank. After reading the posts here,  I called my bank to find out whether or not it was a legitimate source - they confirmed that they had given out my name, phone number, and when I last visited my particular branch to this company.  They are trying to improve their quality of service.  I asked for my number never to be given out again and they have made a note in my file.  So it is a legit source, but if you want them to stop calling then call your bank and get your name off the call list!

this number has called me twice today i did not answer the calls.. i don't know whom it might be..

I would like these ppl to stop calling my home phone saying they are Td banTdk, when Td bank already advise me they are a fraud.

I just called them back and its some kind of survey scam. Called TD to they say that this isnt their #

Called today. Survey for TD bank. Called TD and was told the number is legit. They use a third party to conduct surveys on their behalf.

We have a message on our answering machine informing callers we are on the do not call list and that we will report their number if they are calling us despite that fact. Well, I did report this number (855 496 4285) although as soon as that part of our answering service message played they hung up.  Because this seems to be someone posing as a bank, however, I made the complaint.

I never answer calls unless I know who it is. Life is simpler that way.

TD bank customer service survey. It's legit. We've been with them for years. Any time we open a new account or make a change that requires a trip to a branch office, we get a follow up survey call within a couple of days after.

Another scammer...did not answer.

Family and I got a call this weekend.

since we did not recognize the caller we did not answer.

From reading the posts I am glad we did not answer.

I think there is an "organization" out fund rasing for their
favorite politico for reelection or election county, state or federal
politico position. Maybe they need the extra money to buy votes.

This number just called me twice without 30 minutes. Didn't answer, and checked the number online. I'm glad I found this thread. I blocked the number. (I simply googled the number and voila!) Good riddance.

Amazingly they new my full name and bank. I pretended I was not home.And to called back.I phoned my bank  and I red flagged my debit card. The scammers are reading this as of now so omit details.

They call me every other day, but I have this number stored in my phone, so I don't answer it anymore when it rings in.  They don't leave a message but I just wish they would stop calling my phone, I am on the Do not call list.  (which seems to be a whole lotta crap)
