Their recording calls all the time - that should be illegal.  I called to get them to stop this morning.  We'll see if it works.

I am 55 and don't have any student loans, so they are just harassing everyone regardless.

I called this number back by dialing 1-855-720-8905.
Then it says - your call can not be compeleted at dialed - check the number and dial again.
This is a scam.  Be careful.

you must work for them. they have no clue and neither do you. I received several calls back to back asking for different people and actually spoke to these people several time and informed them that they had to wrong number. I was told we are sorry and we will remove your number.  So please tell me because I know you know the answer to the question.  How the hell can four different people with four different names who live in different cities all have the same phone number and none of them even live in my area? By the way my name is not listed as a reference for any of the people that they have called about and I don't have a loan. Does anyone even take the time to find out of the information they have is correct before calling and harrassing people because that is what it is.  Please note that I have already filed a complaint with my local police department.

they are a little sketchy to me. They call here asking for my son, I have no idea how they got my number, he does not live here and he never gave my number for his loans. They ask me where he works and the number for his work. Told them i don;t have that info and i don't have to give it to them. They said yes you are and i told them not to call anymore. A loan in my sons name is not my responsibilty and it is not my place to give them his work phone number, that is unethical for them to even ask for it as it is illegal for them to call him at work.... education loan or not it does not matter they do need to follow the code.....

They kept calling my 16 yr old daughter's cell.  I called the number back, it is actually NelNet.  I used to work in the student lending area of a large bank, and had a lot of dealings with NelNet.  It was easy to get to a human.  When I explained that this was a kid's phone and she is not a refference on anything, they looked up the number and asked if I knew the person they were trying to contact (Steven something).  I did not.  I told them that this number has been assigned to my daughter for three years now.  They removed the number from their listing.

All they are trying to do is contact borrowers that are behind in student loans (like half the country, right?).  They are easy to deal with and if you ask they will remove your number.

They keep texting and calling.  NOONE in my family has ever had a student loan.  How and why do they keep calling me.  Do they just call everyone like marketers?

They are calling me again and are advertising to extend my loan or something like that. My loan is not through them by the way and I find it fishy that they have these auto calls going out to advertise. I am on the do not call list.

I'm 63 years old and retired.  I paid every penny of my college expenses working in a steel mill when I went to school.  They keep calling for some girl named Janelle.  I live alone and have repeatedly told them they have the wrong number.  They obviously don't believe me because they keep on calling.  Now when they call, I tell them to hold on, then I set the phone down and see how long it takes them to figure out I'm not coming back.  As far as Keygan goes....I have two words for you.

I am getting harassing calls from this outfit as well. I have NEVER had a student loan, yet they persist in calling me several times a day. When they do mention the name of the person they're trying to reach, it's unintellligible. I've called them three times to explain that I DO NOT HAVE OR HAVE EVER HAD A STUDENT LOAN and to stop calling me, to no avail, as they insist my number is not in their systems (note the plural). Is there any way to stop this harassment? DON'T TELL ME TO CALL THEM - I'VE DONE THAT - THEY'RE NOT LISTENING.

They just sent a text to my mother, but no one in my family has a student loan of any kind. Fair practices act or not, it is not right to continue bothering people who have no connection whatsoever with any student loans.
