I have been receiving calls on my office phone from this number on a daily basis for several weeks.

In my case, this was a legit call from Citibank. She did leave a message and just instructed me to log into my account for an important message. I double-checked that the url was legit and when I logged in, found I was past due on a payment; apparently with the card switchover, I was supposed to re-establish auto-pay and didn't realize.

Sorry to tell you boys and girls that if you are getting calls from this number it IS Citi bank calling you about your Costco card transfer.

They called my cell phone several times and then my home number so I called the number on the back of my credit card. They confirmed that they were trying to reach me because I missed a payment. My Amex was auto pay but this did not move with the balance.

If you get a call from this number just call the number on the back of your card. it is a different depart, but they will confirm that they are trying to reach you. Good luck

The caller who spoke English fluently, claimed they wanted to speak with me about my Citibank Costco card and how much they "enjoyed visiting with our customers."  Problem is, I am NOT a Citibank Costco card member, nor have I ever been.  Clearly, it is a SCAM!

Costco Visa has called numerous time saying I owed the money.  I have told them at least a half dozen times telling them I had never received their card yet.  They say AmExpress transferred a balance even though I had told them it had a zero balance. They still keep calling.  I had already talked to their fraud dept.  But apparently they still seem to think they can get money out of me.  Not!

Receive calls from this number 5 times a day for over a week! Really a nuisance!!! Don't leave a message either.

That should be a call from CitiBank.   She told me about my payment for my Costco Citi card.   After I checked my account, I found I forgot to set up the automatic payment, and a late payment fee was generated.    Thanks for the calling.

I didn't answer as I thought it was odd receiving a call on Sunday morning, a voicemail was left asking me to log into my citibank.com  account and left this number if I preferred to call.  I believe it is legit as I have a bill with the new citibank/costco that I am disputing and so it shows as late.  If you had the american express with Costco, even if you have not used it in years, it transferred to Citibank and you could, as it is in our case, have a "automatic renewal" of your costco membership on it.  Hope this helps.

I have no balance and costco closed this act ans Amex sucked in the process.  This is a scam for certain

Called on a Sunday morning no message

This does not sound right.  We called American Express and Citi Bank they both told us our AE balance would be transferred to Citi Bank and to pay when statement says it is due.

I can assure you this is not legitimate for all people. I do not and have never had any creditime card associated with Costco.

They call everyday at around the same time. I have the number blocked, but they keep calling.

Call claiming to be CITI Bank asking one to call back.  SCAM all they try to do is get information from you.  I called my Citi bank account and they are not trying to contact me and my account is fine.  This is a very well organized Scam so be careful.

They called me today.  Said they were with Costco.  Then it kept breaking up after they seemed to be asking questions then they ask questions I couldn't understand because of crackling on the line then they said " Let's try something else. "  then they ask me to state my full card number.  I had cancelled my card with a balance on it ( charged by someone else ). I didn't respond. They originated the call and left a message. I returned their call.
