I just received the same call as everyone else. She said her name is Misty Branch with Merchant Services and I was over billed for the last 2 billing periods.  She wanted me to email her the first page of my last 2 statements to statements@wholesalebanc.com and include her name, Misty Branch in the subject line.   She also said they would get me a refund for the over billed amounts.   The phone number she gave was 855-881-9367 ext. 1403, but the phone number from the caller ID was ANYDOC USA 972-852-0850.   I told her I would get them right over and hung up. SCAM SCAM SCAM ! ! ! !

I just got a similar call. I did not catch the main phone number they called from. Brandon asked me to fax over the last 3 months of merchant statements due to an over payment and changes to the fees. He could not answer any basic information about me or my company. I suspected from the first minute he was scamming me.
When i asked him who he works for, his response was Merchant Services. I said from my bank and he said he works in the "Corrective Billing Department" and I needed to fax it to 855-924-2774 or I can email my statements to statements@wholesalebanc.com. He wanted to wait on the phone while it was faxed. I told him I was busy and would do it later. He said as soon as he got it, he would call me back with a confirmation number and the refund amount. I immediately hung up and called the bank... NOTHING. He was a total scam.

Joseph with Merchant Services 855-881-9367 extension 1410 said I was overcharged on October and November statements. He requested I fax him my statements with a correction code and percentage number to 855-924-2774 while he held on the line. I told him I wouldn't fax anything before calling my bank.

I've gotten a few phone calls now from Wayne at merchant services, telling me that our business has been overcharged and he wants to talk to us about reversing the charges. Since my husband deals with the books, I told Wayne I'd have him return his phone call later. The number he gave me was 18558819367 ext1407.  My husband never got around to calling Wayne back. Lo and behold, this morning Wayne called again, for a third time, and my husband answered the phone. He made up some excuse about needing to call him back later. When he hung up the phone, he told me it sounded fishy, so I decided to Google the number. Thank God for this page! Now I know that it really is a scam!

Said I was due an refund from Aug thru October...scam artist.

Our business received a call from Wayne Morris at Wholesale Banc (with a C).  Kind of a red flag right there!  He said that for the last few months we have been getting extra service fees from our credit card processors.  We are being charged a rate that only large businesses ("like Holiday Inn") should pay, not "small businesses like us."  He asked me to get out a merchant statement, and then quickly rattled off line items I should look for in order to spot the extra charges.  Next step was for me to send our merchant statement to him so that a "senior analyst" (who is trained and takes a lot of seminars to learn credit card processors "tricks") can analyze to figure out what extra charges we have, get them to stop, and then get us compensation (which would either be a refund check or reflection on our next statement).  Somehow also by only sending in one statement the analyst would be able to "back check a whole year".  His return number is 1-855-881-9367 extension 1407 and the email address he told me to email a statement to was statements@wholesalebanc.com  (bank with a C...).  I asked if he was trying to sell me a service.  "Nope"   I asked how they make their money.  "From the credit card processor.  We oversee them."
There are so many reasons this call was so odd!  Too shady for me!

A Joseph called to discuss overbilling on an account. I called back and was placed on hold. The receptionist asked me my name and I asked her who Wholesale Bank was and why they were calling me. She hung up.

Caller is Wayne Morris. Extension 1407. Was vague when asked who he was calling with. However, he stated that we've been overcharged from October 2016 until now (January, 2017) on our merchant service accounts. I told him "Thanks. It's good to know there are people like you out there, who are looking out for us." Unfortunately, I didn't mean it.
Full disclosure: I didn't say that last part out loud, but I thought it in my head. This is not the first time he called.

I also, had a call from this number the gentleman's name was Wayne Morris - Basically the same story as the above stories!  Wanted to go over my statements with me because we were over charged for 3 months!.....If you have to be 'dishonest' to get my business - How in the world could I trust you with my personal information!......I say get out an get a real job and do honest days work!!!

Rude, pushy. States they represent the bank your merchant services use. Doen't know which merchant services you use..so the first tip off it's a scam. Asks you to pull records that if they are who say they are..they already have them. 2nd tip off.. Scam, scam, scam.....

Joseph from "Merchant Services" called my business to tell me the same story that everyone else has told. I asked him specifically for his company name and all he could tell me was "Merchant Services Corrective Billing". He was very forceful and down right rude and demanded that i get my credit card statements. I told him that my accountant had them and I did not have access to them at the moment. He was very angry. I asked for his phone number to call him back and then looked it up online and found this.

Feb 3, 2017.  Same scenario as the other folks.  I'm sure it's a phising trip or fake charge scheme.   Guess I won't find out what it is. Thanks for sharing the intel.

Very  unprofessional  and offensive  when I told him I was uninterested in anything  he had to say or sale.  Asked be taken off the call list, was told that would not happen

We have been getting similar calls. Her name is Lacey at ext. 1403. Wanted usomething to fax our latest stmt to 855-924-2774
We don't have a fax, and she responded with, "we'll you must have a smartphone, take a picture and send it". Now she wasn't rude, until that stmt. I was a little annoyed, we are a mom & pop. We do not have time to deal with this annoyance and to be told how we shld move her request along.
I am so glad my daughter told me about this website. Lacey will not be hearing back from us.

Bryan from "Merchant Services" called  and asked me to call him back at 855-881-9367 ext. 1405. He said we were overbilled on our December statement and wanted me to go online to view that statement. He wanted to know if we had noticed that our credit card discount amount was much higher in December. Well, yes it was. (Our sales were higher) He asked what the Amount deducted was from page 4 of our statement and then what the total sales amount was from page 1. I gave him those numbers and he calculated our rate for that month to be 2.03%. He said it should have been 1.5% and calculated that we were overcharged by $374.45... In the blank space at the top of page 1 he had me write CB1405 (his extension) and 2.03% with that number circled and then $374.45. Then he wanted me to fax it in with pages 1 and 3 first and then pages 2 and 4. Very shrewd way to get a copy of our statement!!! Needless to say he won't be getting my business!!

Got a call from this number, when I answered the phone, I said hello 2 or 3 times and they hungup. I called the number back and some guy answered and sent me to another rep. I got her voice mail and left them a message to take my number off their call list. Then about 15 minutes later I got a call back from 972-852-0850. I had Googled  the first number and was reading someone else had gotten a call back from a 972 number, so I answered it by just saying hello and not the business name. So they asked for some gal, I told them they had the wrong number! Haven't heard back from them!

I got similar call last week, he said he was from my merchant service, asked me for my statement. I did sent him my statement, then I was told that I was overcharged. So I got phone call today from his supervisor, Samantha who told me that I got overcharged because I don't have right pos system. She was going to sell me the POS system as $1000, told me to get my check account and my tax id ready which made me question them, if they are my merchant service, they should have those information already, so I googled "Wholesale Banc". I am glad that I did!!  By the way, they are "Wholesale Banc", not bank, because I did sent the gentlemen an email.

SCAM, Brandon has been calling with the same MO.  They are good... but a scam!
