ok so i have been doing a little bit of research and i saw the name sara barsum in here , well my boyfriend is trying to by a car he saw one that he really like on Craigslist but to me it may be a scam is to good to be true.this is  the email she send him after he replay to her post:

Really good shape, never had any problems with it, no need to invest money in it, flawless exterior/interior condition.This car is in great condition (Acura NSX from 1996, 3.0L VTEC 5 speed and currently has 37,477 miles,red exterior with black interior).  The title is legally under my name, clear and free of any liens or loans.The price was reduced at $2,400. Because of my divorce settlement, i own this car and as a woman i don`t need it so i`m trying to get rid of it as soon as possible (that`s why i`m selling it so cheap).

dont believe any of this bogus [***]! She is telling me that she is selling a 2003 acura for 1800 and obviously from the previous post, she has been lying to others about the car she has. I would say forget it and look else where! She is going to take our money and run!

Needless to say did not buy the car that was to good to be true.

I nearly fell victim to the Rebecca Dixon craigslist scam as well. Luckily I was extremely wary of a car priced $4000 below value and looked around online before I sent the money!

Someone who has lost money from this scam should report it. I feel actual loss would do more to get the people who do something about this moving than if someone who did not lose money were to report it. Plus, you will have much more information.

Yep looks like our Adam Rudd is at it again. Found the initial ad through Carsales Australia then he somehow made contact with me via SMS and requested email communication. Here is his reply....Same story as the rest...This vehicle would normally sell for around $50,000 not $9000 as offered by Mr Rudd.

Well we got the exact same email only it concerned a 2007 Prado Grande for $16,552, only the name he is using with us is Lt. Jasper Masters. After reading a few more posts about this scam, it seems he/she goes under the names Craig Harris, Harvey Ward, Debra Lewis, Rachel Foster, Angela Stuart, Ronald Walker, Cynthia Beldner, Brandon Graham, Richard Dalton, Melissa Dawson, Burt Russell, Andy, Martin Evans, Eric Obrian, Heather Anderson, Harold Coleman, Daniel Ramos, Gloria Kennedy, Tina Hughs, and Tayler Trett (all Lt.) and apparently he/she has a Prado, a Cherokee, a Chevrolet, a convertable Voltswagon, a Accord, a Dakota, a Ranger, a Beetle, a Buick, a Tahoe, a Nissan, a Siverado, a Civic, an Atima, and a Xterra!!!
BE AWARE!!!!  This is a SCAM and they are sucking innocent hardworking people in by using the good reputation that the army ebay and amazon have earned. Its sick and its wrong!!

Yup-this time it was Staff Sgt Cynthia Spalding from an AF base in AK.  (Sad that they're using military names-Cynthia is actually a military personnel).  

Scum scammers.  Thank God I didn't send money, but the email I received from eBay Motors/eBay Buyer Protection Program looked legit.  However they were selling the Jeep on Craigslist, not eBay.

BTW, no AFB will ship a personal vehicle!!

Just dealt with the same thing, Cynthia Spalding, selling a $15,000 jeep for $3,000. Said it was because her sister was very sick and she wanted to help alleviate health costs. I didn't send any money, but like someone else said, the eBay email looked legit. Thank god I came on here to investigate. I did give her my name and address, although not phone number. But I told her I was in the military as well, which was a mistake.

I'm afraid whoever this is may use me as their next seller. so if you see anyone named ET2 Ry@n G@rrette trying to sell anything, it's a scam because I don't sell stuff online.

I immediately noticed the stock photo when my wife excitedly showed me the ad.
She contacted the person anyway, and the email went to this address: MillerDMamie0@yahoo.com.
(Notice the "Miller" in the name which popped up in other scams recorded on this site.)
The response came from a "Patricia Bouton" from a different email address, "patriciabouton129@gmail.com.

Here is the response (Sound familiar?):

My name is Patricia Bouton and I'm emailing you regarding the 2000 LEXUS GS300 that I have for sale. It is in perfect condition, with no need for any additional repairs. Flawless exterior condition, no scratches and no dents. It has never been involved in an accident. The interior is in very good condition, also the exterior. A drunk driver hit him and his fiancé. They were with her car on their way to his little brother's birthday.
