The cruise is not free. You have to pay port fees and taxes, and theres an extra charge if you want to upgrade to a better room (it includes a little inside room, so of course you'll want to upgrade).. its not free, and not worth it. They end up charging you so many fees that you end up paying the same amount that you would if you were actually booking your own cruise.

I bought the pots and pans because the presentation was impressive, we were offered a 2 year payment plan and I wanted the trips. I have not tried to get the trips yet but what isn't anywhere on our contract is that there is a 20% interest rate! If my husband and I pay the minimum every month we will pay at least $500 in interest which really pisses me off. The cookware is cool, but it's not the most amazing cookware ever.

Attended this presentation just over a week ago. I'm one of the first people to cry out scam with anything like this, especially since my fiance had received 4-5 different "prize" offers from various BS companies after the bridal show she went to. We went to this one because after looking online it seemed legit. The guy giving the presentation was very upfront about everything, including the fact that the cookware theyd show us is freakin expensive, and the trip does not include airfare or off-resort costs. Also, they had a gift that was 2 wedding bands from JVLJewelry.com, and explained right at the beginning that you DO have to pay shipping and handling.

After the almost 2 hour presentation which showed their cutlery, china sets, and cookware we chose to buy one of the cheapest cookware sets because it was obvious it was high quality. Also, we got both the trip and wedding bands (the wedding bands have already been ordered - and were completely free except for S/H). I don't know much about the trip yet as we're waiting to register that package. Just received the cookware in the mail today and its definitely a quality set, and everything the salesman explained it to be.

I agree Chefworld is scam.. We were pulled in too. We loved the deals the gifts and such we even bought some product. We later decided afterwards that maybe the products was not what we needed at this time. We tried to cancel and we were told the items were already shipped out. We told them we could ship it back and get our money back. We were told that we had ONLY 3 days to cancel our order from when it was placed. Not ANY time to even decide if we even like the product besides when it is being showcased by a guy who does it ALL the TIME. NO chance of getting ANY money back and now we are stuck with pans that we decided that we did not want before we have even received them. Yeah other places that sell pans may be expensive but at least they let you return them if you decide you don't want them. They also let you, hell, even see them first and allow them to be shipped back...Trust me.. Dont buy CHEFWORLD unless you are SECURE that you want them YOUR product site unseen because there is no way they will let you get your money back. another number is 845-782-0693 or 845-782-4544  and as far as customer service.. HA The nicest guy you will meet from that company is the guy selling you the stuff to begin with... After that it's oh well not their problem and any other attempts at getting your money back will result in them trying to get you for fraud.  Yes grocery coupon card requires 4.95 shipping and handling oh and access to the internet and oh yeah printer and ink (normal ink cartridge costing 40 bucks). Trip requires 100 deposit and the rings require 25 bucks shipping and handling.

I and 10 other people attended a showing 3 days ago, (Thursday). NOT A SCAM! The cookwear is great. We had a choice between a set of wedding bands valued up to $300.00 each, or a 2night-3 day trip to either Mexico, Bahamas, or Dominican Republic, and a voucher for the coupons. The only tricky part is knowing when to register for your gifts (trip & coupons). You only have a year after your registerd to be able to enjoy it. We are trying to schedule our trip and the registration for our coupons around the same time so we could get additional values on a hotel and food if we plan to extend our trip. I have not read all the postings so someone may have already suggested this, but if your having doubts about anything about this company or it's products, just contact the BBB and see what they say.

P.S. working on getting my passport right now!!!!

I went to the presentation yesterday 25 July 2011 at the Don Shula Hotel in Miami Lakes. The sales representatives was excellent and advised us on all the fees that came with the gifts ($50 for the wedding bands set ($25 each) S&H, Taxes to be paid by us with $100 deposit for 3day/ 2night hotel stay, and port fees and taxes for cruise, also $4.95 S&H for coupon book. And also stated that the trips had to be booked ahead of time 120 days for cruise and 60 or 90 days for hotel stay i don't recall exactly.) He continuously stressed there was no pressure on purchasing anything. The presentation was amazing. I learned a lot on all the types of materials used for cookware and their pros and cons. The food tasted great and it really did show us how much healthier food can be cooked on that type of cookware. The product seemed worth buying so we did. It comes with a lifetime warranty so that is great to know. I have not received the product yet but as soon as I do I will come back to tell you about it. As for the trip, once we take the trip I will also come back and share my experience. I was a bit skeptical at first but I decided to take a chance.

Not everything in this world is a scam.

I am also a proud owner of a Kirby Vacuum cleaner which i purchased from a sales man that came to my house to show me the product. Still have the vacuum and it works great for the past 12 years. I also bought a set of Cutco Knives a long time ago from a company that works similar to this one. Super happy with the knives...  Just saying.. Hope this review helps out...

My fiance and I went to a presentation on August 24th 2011 in Lexington, Ky.  The man and his wife were very generous and somewhat annoying but funny.  The guy gave the presentation and explained everything there was about hidden costs and the $100 REFUNDABLE deposit along with the charges for the coupons.  We did however purchase the small 8-piece set in order to get a 5 day all inclusive trip to the Domincan Republic or Bahamas.  The cost of that was actually going to be $59/night (still better than $200/night regularly).  We were informed of the cost of this also.

I am still skeptical as to if this is a scam or not but I'm already in $1300 and figured what the hell... I will wait and see if I receive the cookware set and how it turns out.  Will also wait and see if the trips turn out to be hassle free or not.  Hopefully everything works out!

I just got back from one of these presentations and I assure you I do NOT work for the company, but it all did sound pretty good.  Maybe you shouldn't be so negative to everything, just a thought.  I didn't buy anything tonight, but that's because we just bought a house, but I have purchased cutco cutlery before (similar deal) and it's the best cutlery I've ever owned.  I've owned it for over 10 years and they replace everything no questions.  It costs your time to go to these things but that's it - geez.

Went to a presentation, it's not a scam people why does everyone expect to get things for free in life. :/ anyways you still have to pay taxes on most gifts. If you don't I'm sure you'll see some problems with IRS. And some trips offered you just have to pay for the flight there, that's saving you money already!

Besides all that there was no obligation to buy anything. I was just there for my gifts but I ended up buying the cookware because I have heard of a similar cookware set that cost well over 2500. Especially if it's anything health conscious or recommended by AHA. It's well worth it.

NO I DONT WORK FOR THEM BUT I
DO MY SEARCH BEFORE ANYTHING WORTH THAT MUCH.

I think they dba as culinary brides under cookworld or chef world :)

Hello, me and my fiance went as well, we also bought the 10 peice set and cutlery. The only thing the sales man "fibbed" about was that we would earn %40 off for our bridal registry...PROBLEM IS, there is NOTHING we or you can order other than gift cards!! How the hell do you receive 40% off, on a gift card... ????
