Received a call from this number, as I don't answer any caller that I don't know so I did not pick up, but no message left. Why people call and leave no message, if they were from telemarketing, I do registered for do not call list, how can I report them and have them fined?

Received a call from Shrine Services with an area code no. out of my area about 7:00 PM tonight. At first I thought it might be from the Shriners, then I became suspicious and DO NOT pick up any calls that I am not familiar with.  Are they looking for donations?  Mention was made about these type of calls not too long ago being from telemarketers/solicitors/political calls. Nothing was mentioned about credit card sleezies.  In other words telemarketers and politicals are OK according to Congress!!!
I am sick of all these calls and usually the callers call at an inconvenient time; we could be eating, having company, sick in bed, or unavailable altogether.  Congress needs to get off of their duffs and do something about these calls. Congress does not listen and yet they want your vote. Sheesh!!

Left no message; however,  I returned the call and learned it was Shriners calling about Shriners Circus

Got a call from this number this morning 5/18/12 at 11:45. Said Shrine Services.  It's time some of us get together and petition our no go for nothing Government entities about their "Do Not Call" list as they are doing NOTHING about these thieves that continue to call in the name of charity, political, etc.  Me, I'm going to write my congressional members as well as my state Attorney General's Office regarding these calls as I have all the numbers recorded, also knowing that they change numbers frequently.

I never received any calls from this number until I registered with the do not call list.  It states on the do not call website that you can't do anything for 30 days.  So these companies take it that they have 30 days to harrass the pants off of you.  Since registering I have received more junk calls than ever before and from new companies.  I'm starting to think that the list is just as much of a scam as these junk callers!  it's like it is a way to trick us into giving out our numbers!

Just for fun and because it's true anyway, if this number calls you and asks for circus money, tell them you don't give money to the circus because they profit from the mistreatment of animals!

This number just called. When I saw it was a probable "begging for money" call, I pressed "Talk" and "Off". Googled the number and saw these reports and went back to my phone and blocked them from ever calling again.

Call came up on caller Id, but didn't leave a message.  It's probably a scam.

Called several times but never leaves message.  Called ID is Shrine Services.

these call are just scams, blocking or reporting the number doesnt help because they just change the number and keep calling.
Dont answer these calls, and dont call them back. when you answer, or call back, or talk to someone, or press 9 to be added to their do not call list - that just lets them know that your number is a working number. then they flag it is as a working number. therefore you will get repeated calls from them and all their scam buddies. because it is an illegal operation and they change numbers and stories often (free alarm system scam, credit card interest rate lowering scam, we will pray with you scam, donation scam, free cruise scam, problem with you accont scam, ect) they DO NOT CARE about the do not call list. they call as many people as the can, changing the story on occasion just to scam an unsuspecting person out of money. the more people they call, the more chances they have of stealing from us.
every number called by the robo callers that dead end gets tossed out, and the ones flagged as working(casue you called back or answered) get stored, passed around illegally, and worst of all - called repeatedly.
BEST ADVICE - NEVER MAKE ANY MONETARY TRANSACTION  OVER THE PHONE, EVER. ESPECIALLY IF THEY CALLED YOU. and dont ever give out personal or financial info over the phone, especially if they called you. SIMPLY, IF THEY CALLED YOU - YOU REALLY DONT KNOW WHO YOU ARE TALKING TO.

I got the phone call with the Shrine Services caller-id.  I figured it was a telemarketer.  Verified that here on 800 notes.  When the phone was ringing, I picked it up and entered a bunch of pound signs (#) and then hung up.  Wished I had a whistle nearby to blow into the phone.

This number just called me. When I answered, they didn't say anything even after my saying helolo twice.  I hung up.

I am registered on the ....DO NOT CALL LIST !!!!!!!!!!!!  

I called them back and requested ....that my number be removed
from their call list.  (Message Left)

I like to answer and just breathe into the phone without speaking or replying-costs them a call and i get the satisfaction of getting something "back"

Called and did not leave message. How can I report them as I am on the do not call list, if they are profit making organization, it's not legal for them to call.

They called me at 12:05 am on November 12, 2012. This was about 10 minutes after another no answer number (786-358-9759) from Miami had called. They also had no answer. The second number probably checks to see if anyone answers and if so they probably sell that information to Shrine service (786-358-9759).
I am also on the FL do not call list and they should not be calling me. I will report them.
