Received call 865.963.4897 on 9/23/2015 @ 2:32pm CT on my landline. Picked up and advised that I am aware they are a for profit company, that I am on the DNC list and told them to remove my number from their list and not call again. Caller did not say anything in response and I hung up.

Tells you everything you need to know about that.

Just got their call and the caller ID gave a name of "Shriner Services".  I googled the name and it said they are a telemarketer for The Shriners.  I also just called a friend of mine who is a Shriner and he said that Shriner Services uses "tear jerker" types of calls to get donations.  Be careful what info you give to anyone on the phone that you do not know.

They called. I didn't answer. They didn't leave a message.

AHHAAAaaaa, the Free Call Blocking Service has finally caught up with and added this unwanted caller/scammer to their list and now has these jerks blocked for free. Go on-line and Google <Free Call Blocking Service> to get info on this service, especially for those unwanted ROBO calls. In addition to the new/free (25) call blocking service with “Vonage,” we also have a Panasonic Call (30) Blocking Phone and need not add this free blocked scammer to our phone... this GREAT FREE Service now has them covered...

Oh relax. One of their clowns got drunk and could not make the show. They're just trying to find a fill-in.

Does it pay minimum wage? And can I drive?

I looked up the number for these people and called. I explained that I had requested my number be removed several times. They still call. Lady was nice when I explained that they receive a salary for making calls and have no right to call Do Not Call numbers. I explained that they can be sued. Ask where their information came from(they had our address) and she said they had bought the info. How scary is that!!!

Not so scary when you realize that whatever info you provide to commercial business, your drivers and license tag info, etc, etc. are marketed to data miners.  These companies use sophisticated algorithm programs to compile lists that are sold to a variety of other businesses (both legitimate and not so much).

Once you and your personal information are on grid (facebook, twitter, anything online) your expectation of privacy has gone out the window.

Called me on 11/24/15 at 11:00AM.  CID was Shrine Services.  I do not answer calls from numbers I do not recognize.
Did not leave message on answering machine.  Since they are for profit I am reporting them to the DNC (for all the good that will do)

Got call today. Hung up on answering machine.  Caller ID states Shrine Services

Id read shrine services ! Called hm # ! Left no message ! Dnc list ! Called late at night !

Ditto  Number came up on caller id but no message left. Said SHRINE SERVICES !! Note these Posts go back to 2011 ??????? Getting arond the DNC list for awhile ... Anybody know who is selling these lists of #'s ???

They called this morning. It was the Shriners. You know - the ones with that Circus. Why are they doing this? They know that Clowns scare the crap out of me.
