This is crazy. I immediately contacted my bank to report this fraudulent activity. The bank told me since i authorized the 1.97 to be taken out, I got to get in touch with them to get my refund. Meanwhile i asked my bank for a new mastercard so they can't try to take out more funds again. this was a bad experience.

So far no refund but it has not hit the 7 days.  I went ahead and closed my card that I used.  I am not taking anymore chances.  Bank told me that if they do refund the money I should receive it.  Cancel whatever you used immediately unless you feel that they really are going to refund you, which they probably won't since it is a scam.  

I never received the CD.  I called before the 7 day trial and they said just keep the CD when you get it, but never received it.  They didn't deduct the 72 dollars, but even though I cancelled they took out 24.87.  I had confirmation numbers and they still took money from me.  FILE A CLAIM!!!!  File a claim with your bank as well.  Don't let them fool you.

I have no idea how they got my debit number, but I have 2 debits in the last month. The first was debited on 5/13/09 for $1.97, and $38.84 on 5/28/09.

constant daily calls 4x a day at all hours

i never received cd or anything either but they charged me 28.50 for something. I was not charged the 72 like everyone else i have cancelled that number of credit card do you think thats enough?

Just tried to call that number and got that it is not a working number.

Looks like I got scammed too!  I had ordered the Google cd, but after I entered my credit information...no other info. was provided to me.  I found out from a friend it was a scam.  I had no contact info. to cancel as I hadn't rec'd the cd yet.  THEY called me the next day to offer me a "gift" and I told them I wanted to cancel!  They gave me the 866-870-4257 number and conf. # to cancel.  I did play the cd and turns out that a Trojan was on it! I threw it away.  Now, I am being charged $24.87 by A1 Member...called the 866-200-5473 number (Grand Springs Utah) and I have to write the company for THEM to investigate and no guarantee of refund.

Did you get a refund yet???  Did you call a different number?  I am soooooooooooo mad right now!

Good luck my hubby told them that they were better off talkingto him and not me when I got on the phone they changed people so I wasn't even talking to the same person that he was.these guys are scum.I intend to file a complaint and google needs to get off their butts and put a stop to these guys using their name.so far I've had 2 charges much like the ones here.and after readingthat paypal isn't even safe I won't be ordering ANYTHING from the internet.good luck none of them can speak english or write it either I've already been in contact by certified mail

I've been waiting for my refund too sent everything by certified mail so they had to sign for it .it has been 12 business days and nothing yet but I'm planning on filing a complaint. with anyone who will listen and I mean any one

Same here,but not quite the same. I did not get a phone call at all.They put a $1.97 charge on one day and two days later they charged me $72.21. This seems to be the main Charge from most people. I called the number on my bank statement, 866-200-5473.The first time they said call back during business hours. So I called it again this AM and they did answer. They cancelled the A1 Membership but then told me I had to write a letter : Blazing Keywords

 They would not handle refunds. I have to write to that CO. She said they have about 100 businesses they take calls for. So I aked her about 2 more businesses that have scammed me.
Auction Work at Home and eBay Success System. I have email addresses for both but will take half a page to put them on here. Anyway she said Iwas not on any other businesses that they have. I am going to call my bank and see if they can do anything for me. Sue

I have also been a victim of this and am waiting for a resolution.

I checked them out on the BBB utah website and they have only had 3 complaints filed against them so all the people saying they filed complaints here aren't telling the truth.

The BBB website actually explains that you have to agree to this $72 monthly charge when signing up for their website but doesn't mention the fact that they sign you up automatically when ordering the "google Package".

Their billing practices are ridiculous, their false affiliation with google is dubious and their continued existence is scandalous.

Please take the time to actually file a complaint with the BBB, this has to stop.

I to got scamed by google treasure.  I normally read terms and coditions.  But on that particular day I was on the phone and did not reand just clicked.  Next thing I know is that I was debited for 72.21.  I called the same day. Told me to mail the disc back.  Did not say to mail by certified mail. I mailed it back on  the 16th of May.  They have yet to receive it (how convient).  Then a few days later I had a charge from Grant Springs.Sent them an E-MAIL not to nice and within less than a week I was credited 24.87.  Not so with google treasure chest.
