This is a company that sells water conditioners.  I used to be in that business.  I did not like the "sneaky" ways they approached people.  Our area is predominately retired/elderly people.  What a shame to send them "an official" looking mailing, only to try to get in their pocket books.

Yes, our water is not the greatest in this area and a water conditioner/filter set up makes things taste better, but do it honestly......

I recd a green card for water update.  Wish I read this site before I called them.  They set up an appt for this thur and they have my address and ph#.  Guess I wont be home.  There was a bad connection on the phone so they asked to hang up and they would call  me right back, which they did.  My caller id showed their ph 727-324-4087.  I looked it up on white pages and it shows it as unpublished in Clearwater, Fl.

CRIMINALS... IGNORE THEM.

Got their green "Water Update" card on Saturday June 18th, 2011.  Considering I am on well water there is no reason a water company would contact me so knew it must be a scam. I do filter my drinking water here, and it does have contaminants.  So might just let them TEST my water and see what they find, but will never buy ANYTHING from these people!

Glad I looked this up, because I thought it was from the water company as well.

Apparently they've moved on to Valrico, FL.  The postcard I received was neon green and said "WATER AWARENESS."  Thanks for saving me a call!

I received a yellow card saying Water Update.  Glad I read the other posts so I won't get scammed.   We just moved too.   They are now in Metro Atlanta and using a local number 678-364-7070.   Do not call this number.  It is the same multimarketing scam.

It's a telemarketing contact to sell you overpriced water treatment systems that you can get if you need them much cheaper at Home Depot of Lowes. And those stores will test your water at no cost. Do not reward this company with your business. They have no right to contact you with this deceptive mail, scaring older people to death.

I just got the card, too, in Dallas, GA.... no return address, just the phone number 678-364-7070. I moved here about 6 months ago.  Knew it wasn't the water company.....

Got the same card; just moved in and thought it was public utilities. Called it and got a guy with a New Yorkish accent who wouldn't identify himself or his company, asked for my name, (gave him my last), then asked for my city, which I wouldn't give him. I demanded to know who he was and what the mail was about. He then told me he "found me in his computer and I don't have a problem(You're damn right!) and have a nice day" and hung up on me. No answer on call back, just an answering machine. Reported his ass to the state!

Got this in the mail today. Just bought the house and was excited as this is the first piece of mail I've gotten here, as we closed 1 week ago! Got the neon "Water Alert!" as all of you have.
