- JeanneI had just bought a home in Spring Hill, fl. and I had gotten a post card Welcome to the neighborhood and a gift of a $50 Walmart gift card. Well I called for my gift card, what a mistake. Water testing company telling me both people have to be home to verify test results. I told them I was not interested and was ashamed of myself for falling for the scam. Well now they have sent this post card you are talking about Water Alert! and V. F. W. sooo. Dont be fooled like the idiot right here, ignore these people and maybe they will go out of business.

- MarilynI received in the mail today July 8, 2017 a bright green post card with just my frist name on it by address, this card is saying or should I say stamped with large letter at the top say "WATER ALERT" talking about i am sorry i foukd not reach you by phone, not thinking I immediately called the number because I am new to the area and the State of Florida thinking a possibility of something wrong with the water we are using, not putting it all together V.F.W., which back home V.F.W. is an organization, and 2. No they would not have my phone number because they don't know me, but now they have my number because I fell for the trick, anyway I wish there was something that could be done about these types of scams, I am always getting one report them but they still come to my emails now to my address. Don't be fool like me the only thing is done now is that they changed the color of the card, by the way no answer when I call, and so far no call back, and of they do i will not answer. Thanks to everyone who posted!!! BE SMART!!! DON'T ANSWER

- PHI have been receiving phone calls and now I received a bright orange postcard with heading "WATER ALERT" from the V.F.W. 866 - 204 - 0720 and my concern is with them posing as the VFW (Veterans of Foreign Wars) and misrepresenting my water utility company using the scare tactic of "Please call us within 48 hours" which lead me to believe that my water was either contaminated or I forgot to pay the bill and it was a shut off notice. All of scenarios were and are untrue, so how is this legal?
I quickly did a search for the name of this company but came up empty.- Caller: 8662040720

- That guy from TampaGot the card, did the research - led me to Victory First Water in Spring hill. I have started leaving negative reviews on Google for businesses that call me for marketing - as I am on the DNC list. I encourage all to do the same - If we would all do this they would see that their marketing campaign is self defeating. Thanks!

- SusanneThis is a scam. High pressure sales to buy a water softener, filter, and their products. We called them thinking it was legit. When the salesman came he said our water was highly chlorinated. When we asked him to leave he became very aggressive. Do not fall for this!!

- Silver| 1 replyJust purchased a home in Port Richie. Paid the outrageous price to turn the water on and almost immediately received this bright orange card postmarked out on Tampa with WATER ALERT printed on both sides in large capital letters. No return address. "Sorry we could not reach you by phone. Please call us within 48 hours URGENT MESSAGE Call Monday thru Saturday with the above number." I figured it was a scam right away so I didn't call. I waited until I had my internet hooked up and here we are. Just throw it away. I am so glad they didn't call my cell. I use VOIP so it wasn't hooked up yet either. I am assuming that the water company sells this company our names and addresses. How else would they get the information so quickly??????
